Smells and coasters?

It sure does have a smell. I just don't know if the nose can discern between different flavors.
I used to remember the smell of the water underneath the exit walkway from B:KF at SFWoA. Am I the only one who enjoys coasters that smell like sulfuric acid?

"Ignore the screaming in the woods...Everything is fine! This is your last chance to escape the wrath of.... THE BEAST."

People always talk about Hershey smelling like chocolate. I spent three days in Hershey in 2002 and the only time I smelled chocolate was when I was eating it.

I'd say you are, but I can't speak for everyone else ;)
The famous tunnel beginning on SCBB's Giant Dipper, very distinct smell of old grease while being whipped around in the dark, followed by cotton candy and fried food while climbing the lift, coaster nirvana!

Another is the smell of DL's POC. And I'm not the only one, on the Disney geek websites, they're actually talking about bottling the water to sell it to other MG's so they can have their very own distinct POC stale water smell.

that combo of latex and disinfectant always reminds me of CP during Halloweekends.

Funny, that always brings up different memories for me.

Hmmmmm.

The latex I can understand, but disinfectant???

LMAO!

I love the smell of foods but other than that mainly the smell of grease on Arrow Coasters.

I also like the weird water smell well waiting for Splash Mountain

For example, "Cotton Blossom" smells like Gatlinburg to me, and "White Tea and Ginger" smells like a Caribbean cruise. And "Freesia" smells like our honeymoon... mmm.

Try it, you'll like it.

heh..

Somebody has been dabbling in the scents from Bath and Body Works. Juniper Beeze reminds me of Sophomore year of college (Ahh, Bianca, how I miss thee) Cucumber melon reminds me of Puerto Vallarta, and Cotton Blossom...that's what I have now. This is what happens when you are with a female who is all into scents, you get sucked in without even knowing it :)

serial thriller or head spin or whatever it is called at Geuga Lake will always remind me of the smell of vomit because the first time i rode it, well i threw up my corn dog.
the smell of grease on the coney island cyclone, plus all those other tempting smells in the area. well not all of them are tempting.
The smell of an overflowing dumpster is tempting? ;)
As Rob said, latex yes, but dude, disinfectant!?! What kinda stuff are you into?

Edit: never mind. I don't think I want to know *** Edited 10/19/2004 8:20:24 PM UTC by Impulse-ive***

I'm sure none of us want to know. Except for those with some sort of disinfectant fetish.
Just some random comments about previous random comments...

I believe Hersheypark uses cocoa bean mulch around a lot of its landscaping, which makes sense since there's a nearby source. Wonder if it would smell like a peanut butter cup if they tossed in some peanut shells.

Bath & Body Works should consider adding a new line of fragrances... creosote, axle grease, cotton candy, and what the heck, throw in kettle corn and funnel cake, but skip the latex.

Not a coaster, but this past weekend while riding the Giant Wheel at Hershey, you couldn't escape the aroma of the cinnamon almonds from the booth below. Now that the wheel is leaving, I guess the smell of cinnamon will remind me of it.

I live less than a mile away from a brewery, so I've had quite a few eye-opening mornings.

I drive near a Busch brewery almost every day. It smells so good... and I don't even drink beer. The only better smell is driving by the Kroger bakery or the Wonder Bread bakery downtown. Yum.

Current smell association-the first dip on Ghostrider while inhaling the aroma of Knotts CDR.

While growing up it was the aroma of heavy oil, gear grease and old wood mixed with the unmistakable smell of sulpher coming up out of the Mononghela Valley from the steel mills while riding the Racer at Kennywood.

Unfortunately, whenever I smell a faint cigarette, I think of Cedar Point. :(
