Cyclops in the Wisconsin Dells, the coaster that gets no respect.  Less than 100 foot drop, had to have a sign on it restricting riders in the back car to 18 years and up because the airtime is so intense.

Wildcat @CP.  Expecting Zyklon, got Zyklon on speed and with a ton of airtime.  My wife hated it which meant there was airtime in abundance.  Also the headchoppers on there rock.

Roadrunner Express @SFWOA.  Yes I know it is a kiddie coaster.  Yes I know it isnt all that big.  Well, the track isnt big, that train is freaken huge.  Speaking of that train, I think I got tossed all around that train on that ride.  I remember being thrown violently from side to side on all the laterals and actually catching some decent air.  Dont laugh now!

It depends on what you consider small. I think Shockwave and Judge Roy Scream @ SFOT pack a good punch. So do Cyclone @ Coney Island and Wildcat @ Lake Compounce
i agree with the high speed thrill coaster at knobels, you really have to hold on.
What about the SFAW Texas Tornado?

I'm not sure whether we're talking height, track length, space, or ride time...but for short height, HSTC is the "pocket Hercules".  If you've ever seen the weightlifter with that moniker, you know what I'm talking about.  Raven is the tops in terms of small-midsize woodies.  In terms of SPACE, the Beemers that are tightly packed, Ga Scorcher, Talon, BKF are the BEST Beemers around for me.  Also gotta love Scorpion at BGT, Dorney's Lazer, and the WildCats - thank you, Anton!  The Premier spaghetti-bowls also pack quite the punch in a small space.  In terms of ride time/track length, try the Invertigo's and the V2/S:UEs...but here's the coaster I'll ADD (unless I missed it somewhere)...Exterminator!

I can't belive that some of these have been left out:

Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake Park. It's not really small, but it packs a giant punch.

Sky Princess at Dutch Wonderland. Its 10th Anniversary this year, and it is a fast ride off the lift.

Raging Wolf Bobs at Geauga Lake. When it was young, it was their marquee attraction, and it ran great.

Montezuma's Revenge @ KBF.
DirtyVern, i dont think i could agree with you anymore. This little ride dont look to big, but wow what a ride (if you didnt know i am talking about Big Dipper at SFWoA)

It has so much airtime, includng that the lap bars dont even hold you in, Its a great overall ride

Agent J - You're right...Sky Princess is a ton'o fun, and I'm ashamed I forget to mention it.  I would have included CLP's Blue Streak had I actually ridden it...ask me again a week after SRM!

AJ must've ridden RWB a loooong time before I did...only one ride ever (in '01), and for me to take ONE spin on a wooden coaster, that's amazingly rare...Villain got 5-6, and even single-training, Big Dipper got 3 rides...

RWB is a great ride that paces itself quite well. Its held in high reguard in the industry managers circle. I am not sure why the enthusiasts slam it. Its not supposed to be 'the Bobs', just a replica of the modern sorts. The concept worked out great, and on budget.

I understand they have some track issues, but I am sure they will catch up with maintenence one day. As for the Villian, man I rode that in a downpour in October, and it was a RIDE. I am not sure how it stayed on the track. I had one of our engineers with us, and their could have been some pants changing going on after that.

The Dipper has always been a classic. The trains had 3 cars at one time, but lately it is always the favorite of my group. They did a tremendous job rebuilding it 10 years ago. We often wonder what it would be like with a set of new trains.....

Roadrunner Express at SFFT has a lot of positive g's.  The Texas Tornado is very intense but I don't know if you would include it in a small coaster lineup, although it has a small and tight footprint.

Batman: The Ride coasters pack a punch.

hi im WickedTwisterGuy05.

Georgia Scorcher...without a doubt!
I would say the Flight of Fears.  They are small in terms of surface area, but they pack one mean punch.  (that would be a punch to the head with the old OTSR's)

Try Flight of Fear version 2.0: It's great!
