Brosnan played Bond too light--which I suspect is exactly how the director and studio wanted him to. Craig's characterization is much closer to the darker portrayal in the original Ian Fleming novels. And, though I love a little bit about every other actor's take (except maybe Timothy Dalton's), IMO Craig's is the best. Nobody does it better, indeed.
