Six Flags "themed" coasters

Viper at SFGAm is themed to an old snake oil factory that was destroyed by the "Viper" (at least thats what I remember being told was the story back when it opened). Over the track in the station various boxes and such hang, two of these boxes are connected by a sack that moves up and down like it has a snake in it (when its turned on).

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

Devin, Six Flags apoligizes for not enclosing the switchbacks and makeing them cold and blue. . .Also, 15 minutes of waiting is inside the station which is very well themed.

Down is the new up.
Hey Word I love that joke by Mitch Hedburg (your signature) LOL

#1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!! M/M's top 10 coasters: 1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Boulder Dash 3. Montu 4. Yankee Cannonball 5. Kumba 6. Gwazi 7. Mind Eraser 8. Thunderbolt (SFNE) 9. Cyclone (SFNE) 10. B:DK
At least SFGRAM's freefall in SWT isn't called Tower of doom.....even in the adventure world era that name was stupid for a ride.

As for theming at an SF park I'd say JJ,PBR(no not the beer)& Batwing probably have the best theming/landscaping of any ride in the park.

TSC used to have some decent pirate theming back in the day including some music in the tunnels but those days are long gone :(.

I like all the shade around Mindbender, and the green water.

I love GA Scorcher's theming. Roman? What the crap?

Even though I do know that the coaster was going to be Jezebel.

The Demon at SMGAm. Not very modern, but perfect in a very classic sense. Long may it run.
Word, I never said anything about enclosing the switchbacks, I only asked that there would be a little theming for the outdoor wait of the coaster.

\/ Wow, a sign, talk about great theming...and the rails are black.

I forgot about Thunder Run at SFKK. The tape they play while you are waiting in line is hilarious. It says something about Thunder Run being the most scary coaster in the WORLD.

Maybe it isn't the scariest, but its definately a great coaster.

Devin, there is a sign, and I think the rails are blue. Talk about theming. . .

Down is the new up.
I like what was the Batman Knight Flight i think it was well themed around the area. But now that its back to Geauga Lake i have no idea what has changed. :)
I think Goliath at SFMM has pretty good theming, although the park isnt that great(besides the coasters.)
I agree with rentzy17...S:ROS at SFNE would take my pick for Six Flags Themeing *** Edited 4/26/2004 3:34:58 AM UTC by Coasterfreeek2002***
