Six Flags Parking Pass jacked up to $40.

Wow, it's amazing how far some of these threads get stretched just to complain about a park or their way of business.

When you got Dexter defending Six Flags, you know you're out there. :)

The jist of the argument as I see it at this point:

"I steal from SF because as a season pass holder, I've agreed to let the park potentially film me with no compensation"

I still amazed at the number of posters that come by and seem so unable to adapt to the real world, its workings and its policies.

Sometimes 'social misfit' is an understatement...

Is Mr. Six allowed to molest me when I buy a park ticket?

Only if you pay extra, Dex. ;)

^^^^^Sounds like your talking about the Gold-Bot. You know, that paid cheating system that is running rampant at Six Flags.

They can legally cheat me, and everybody's on board. I go to save a few bucks, that I gaurantee you Six Flags will never miss, and now there's a problem.

No you did not save a few bucks, you stole from the company. Stealing is illegal by the way. And the more this behavior is encouraged the more six flags will miss that money and the higher their prices will go. The less money Six Flags has the more we will see great parks close.
So what your basically telling me, is that I will singlehandedly bring an end to Six Flags. Damn! Wish me luck.

No I am saying that if this behavior and behavior like it is encouraged and many continue to steal, then we will see some of our favorite parks meet the fate of Astroworld.
I guess this is the wrong time to bring up the fact that I will offer the use of my Six Flags parking pass to any family or friend who wishes to use it.
YEAH! Because everybody who went to Astroworld was doing the same thing with parking that I am, and the closing had nothing to do with the value of the property.

I do not see as much of a problem with that, as long as you legally obtained it.
^^^^^^^Yes, it is legally mine, as I mentioned in the 1st post to this thread.

I never said it wasn't.

Any chance of getting you to lay off of these things: "^^^^^^^^^^^"

It's just messy and completely unnecessary - especially in linear conversation.

Thanks. :)

Yeah! Those ^^^^^^^^^^^ suck! ;)

Just because what you stole doesn't bankrupt a company doesn't make it any less wrong.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

^^^^^^^I have no idea what you are talking about! ;)
A lot of employers try to weed out people who do not see stealing as wrong. Every Job interview and/or "honesty test" I have taken before getting a job has made it an issue.

I do not want people like phan working where I work. They will say that the company will not miss it if he takes such-and-such home, or "borrows" a few dollars from the cash register every day.

What makes phan's "I'm not hurting anyone"'s attitude even worse and more personal for me and others here is that he is stealing from an industry that we all love and want to see grow. You are also stealing from some people here who have invested in SF.

If money is an issue, you can always do like me. Pay the extra cash to park, and spend less inside the gates. I'm one of the guys who can't afford much, but I'm still honest in my business dealings.

Not trying to be a meanie. I still like you, phan. I hope you can learn a valuable lesson here at CB. Stealing is wrong. :)

I can't take this offseason crap anymore...I am going to go flipping crazy... :) :) :)

I suppose he won't mind if I take 50 cents a week for a couple of years. It is only 50 cents a week! Pocket change! He won't miss it, I am sure.
Funny thing is, you don't like the fact that I'm stealing back my own money, that I earned at a better paying job than a cashier Dex.

Yeah money is a real issue with me, I can't figure if I want to put Super gas in my Vette this weekend to drive it around, or stick with special, and go with the 12 year old Beretta that I also own.

OH YEAH! I almost forgot. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You aren't stealing your own money. Once you give it to the company it is the company's money.

Ok, let's put it this way.

You like posting here? Then stop.

(I'm a loving and forgiving Gonch, don't make me become an angry and vengeful Gonch :) )

Really, it's nothing personal. It's just a serious PITA to read around.
