Six Flags Over Texas is getting an addition to its skyline with a ride that will be taller than anything else in the park, though park officials won't say anything about it. S&S Power Inc. of Logan, Utah, is building what it calls a tower complex -- a ride expected to be more than 320 feet tall that will launch passengers up or down at speeds of at least 60 mph. The attraction is expected to cost at least $10 million.

Sorry bud, but WBMW Madrid's Tower ride peaks out at 300' max, equivelant to Cedar Point's Power Tower. It is the tallest "Combo Ride" ride operation from S&S. The tallest is still the Knott's tower.
Well, I've heard the top of the tower is 360 feet. (110m)(the triangular top). The gondolas reach a maximum height (Turbo Drop modus) of 320 feet. (100m)
It opened this year and was announced as the worlds tallest and fastest "ride of it's kind" ever.
Let's say Supreme Scream (Knott's) is the highest Turbo Drop with 320 feet. And Enigma is the highest Combo Tower with 360 feet.
The SF tower will probably be 380 feet or something. Enigma is 'owned' by SF too, so they'll take the same ride, make it a little higher and have the record.
Regarding the hostyl one, SFNE Freak said "Wow, I can't believe you're scared of drop rides! They just as good as coasters, IMO. SFNE also has a triple combo tower and it rocks. "
Just because I'm scared to death of them does not mean I dont ride them. The "Fear Factor" (TM) is what excites me about them. I've done 1st Gens @ SFoG & SFGAdv, 2nd Gens @ SFA & SFAW, Space Shots (CP & IOA), Turbo Drops (CP) and Combo Towers (SFFT). The only reason I didnt do a gyro drop (PKI) was that it was broken on my 2000 visit and I had very limited time during my 2001 visit.
They *still* scare me into regular Bowel Movement.
