Okay, I might be going up to Ohio to an the Orioles play the Indians. So of coarse I if I go I will go to Ohio's stellar parks. I'm going to Cedar Point one or two days, PKI once, and this is where my question comes in. Is it worth it to go to SFO? I have a season pass to SFA, but that would mean staying an extra day at the hotel, but I guess I could go the same day that I go to the one of the O's game.
I just want your advice if SFO is worth it or not. And thanks for your help, but please try to keep the "noise" and arguments down I really don't want this to get closed.

Sure it's worth it. After all, you would get in free! When I went last year I was at the park from 11 to 5, getting many repeat rides on rides like Villain and BKF. We could have left at 3 and still would have hit everything. Depending on crowds, you may be able to hit it on the same day of the baseball game, but the new Flying Dutchman may change crowds...who knows. You should definitely make a stop though.
Well, it would require me to stay longer, about an hour drive, food, ect. (we have an SFA parking pass though).

It's worth it. Like MooreOn said, you get in for free and it is fairly easy to get everything in in a short time. When are you planning to be in Cleveland? It matters what month and what day on whether or not the crowds will be ok and such. But if you are in the area and stopping at CP then you definately need to go to SFO!

I heard a lot of trash about their ride ops, are they really that much trouble? Or can you go without them wrecking everything?

First off, an SFA parking pass is only good at SFA, no where else(sorry :(). Go to SFO on a weekday, and it should be a great park, and get there really early and be prepared to wait in long traffic lines getting in and out as the roads there are horrible.

Everybody calm down, the coasters do not open for another fifteen minutes.
The ride ops at sfo are as cold as liquid nitrogen
but all they do is strap you in the ride. Don't let stone faced ops discourage you from the park. They've got 10 coasters, most of which are fairly good.

Well I'm going to be able to ride the dutchman whenever I want at SFA. That's my home park.

SFO is definitely worth it. The only Flying Dutchman east of the Rockies? C'mon, you gotta go to that park.
It is definetly worth it. Serial thriller, Batman, Superman, Villian, are all great rides. I didn't notice a problem with their ride ops. The lines are short, at least when I went they were. IMO SFO is a great park, a great experience.

See you in 2001 for twice the fun (hint, hint)
SFA is getting one also FYI, but thanks for yur input.

I take offense to that... you are all ignorant. I am a good and courteous op. That's why I am a manager. Let's generalize to make everyone feel better because it's good to shove blame on everyone else.
Yeah! You tell em SFOFOREVER!!!

I never said they were, but I was reading a lot of bad things. Anyway I know what you mean, I also get pissed when anybody disses SFA.

SFO has really improved when they added the six flags name. The park is much cleaner and it's a lot of fun. However when I went the line were usually about 15min so I got through the park quickly.

I second that! Come to think of it, I think SixFlags OHio is the only SixFlags park with 2 great woodies, IMO. Correct me if Im wrong, someone.
