Six Flags New Englad, known for its famous Superman: Ride of Steel megacoaster, announced their new for 2002 coaster, Batman- The Dark Knight. The statistics aren't clear, but they do confirm the coaster will be 117 ft. tall, over 2600 ft. long, and will last 140 seconds long.

Superman:Kid of Steel, SFNE has a well rounded, dare I say large collection of flat rides. Check them out for yourself.

Also, according to SFNE's site, the Sea Dragon still finds its home at SFNE. Even though I believe it was moved to SWOA a year or two ago. Back to the subject, I believe this is exactly what the park needs, a good sit-down looper. From the blueprints, the ride looks to have spectacular theming as well.

Well...don't get too happy about no-one being at parks during school hours. I will be at SFWoA all the time during school this year since I have gotten homeschooled. :-D

Sorry IntaminAG1, but SFMM is 1 mile from my school and 3 miles from my house. I can see X, STE, Viper, Colussus and Goliath from my parent's bedroom.
NoRulz, I already know.  But, don't you like to get new rides at a park? I mean, Superheroes section only has 2 rides besides Superman.  Also the western section only has a couple.

B&M of Switzerland=best rollercoasters
Would I like to see new rides at SFNE? Sure, but flat rides should not be the top priority of a park with a good collection. The western section (Crack-Axle Canyon) is small and mostly uphill. How they could fit two flat rides and Houdini: The Great Escape is amazing by itself. The Superhero section gets a ton of more foot traffic than Crack-Axile Canyon and I have a feeling it will still be the main draw even with B:TDK. B:TDK will most definitely be the second most popular ride in the park only to S:ROS. I do think the North End of the park where Blizzard River is, should get a few more attractions in the near future.
Six Flags New England has an excellent flat ride collection, but really lacks in the family effect that all other New England parks give.  The park really needs some more input in the section up by Cyclone, its empty, except for the short term draws to Blizzard River.  The park also needs more shows that are actually open.
GOSH! you people complain a lot, I've been reading the posts and I've noticed that people never say wow! What a great park, I have so much fun every time I go to that park New England or whatever. All I hear is complaining and stuff! O yeah..........The ride is going to be awsome!
