LOL redman, maybe that's why you're not thinking it's funny? Don't take it so "personal"...I know how much you love SFGAm and how well it's operated and all that, but just look at it as a tongue in cheek way of how some days go for some guests at the park.

Look at it that way and not that they are "making fun of SF" and maybe you'll get a chuckle? I mean come one, the chicken line!! That is comedy gold! :)

Joe, laughed harder the second time he watched it

I just thought it sounded like something from Genesis P. Orridge and "Psychic TV" (if anybody remembers them).

I think the overall ****tyness of the whole thing is very fitting.

Did you read the notes from the "director"? He says that the music was done by his father!

(even more Psychic TV referrences ;))

It's the little things that amuse me... like "Sorry, coaster broke 110 frames ago."

That video was great.I like six flags but a good parody is always funny.

I thought it was pretty stupid. And it's sad somebody would take the time to write a song like that and put it into a annimation. You would think people would have better things to do.

Are you kidding me? Have you actually looked at anything on the Internet?

It's peoples' DUTY to put something like that on the 'net! :)

Yeah like post to coaster sites and play video games and play rct and design a 1981 Marriots Great America in every painful detail.

Joe,

You're such a mark for CF. Thanks for turning this into a CP vs. SF thread.

I just don't like your company.

Sincerely,

Brian

Heh - That was fun. I like the kid with the pimple - and why did it make me think of ACE and/or Coasterbuzz when they were talking about the scary people? ;) (oops, did I say that out loud?)

OMG! That was almost exactly like my last trip to SFoG. I swore I would never go there again...and then I went to SFWoA and SFKK, which made me realize just how wonderful SFStL is compared to most of the chain.

Funny thing is, that describes my first visit to Carowinds quite accurately, about 5 years ago....there was a private take-over of the park on the Friday we were supposed to go, and the next day, it was PACKED, and the hottest day in Charlotte in a millennium or so. If I hadn't returned last season, I never would've realized what a fantastic place it can be.

The short moral of the story: If you're not in Santa Claus or Elysburg, you COULD have that kind of day....doesn't mean it isn't a good park having a bad day...

I've had some GREAT days at SFoG, some not as great...thankfully, the kind of day described has not happened to me at SFoG....does that mean I'm "due"? ;)

Reminds me of my day at Six Flags America. God, that was one of the worst parks I've ever been to.

Some of you knock on the quality of the flash movie, which is cool, but I think one of the things that appeals to the viewers who find it funny is that it is a satire on cartoons as well!

I think you all look into things FAR too much. Can't you just accept things at base value? Its a satirical little cartoon about someones day at sfog, period point blank. LAUGH! It was funny.

Dante,

People have different opinions as to what is funny. Everybody doesn't have to agree...

There are shows and comedians that others find funny, (Friends, Conan OBrien) that I find dumb and boring, yet there are comedians that I find funny that others do not like (Dennis Leary and Lewis Black).

Hell, I still wonder how that POS show "Kids in the Hall" is still on the air... *** Edited 2/17/2004 2:50:31 PM UTC by redman822***

I take it Joe that you're referring to George *dissing* the Kids in the Hall....;)

George KNOWS I'll get even with him for that....Dave Foley is SO damn funny I still watch re-runs of NewsRadio. Wouldn't have even let it slode THAT long, 'cept for the fact that Lewis Black is one of my role models...

Somewhere between Dave Chappelle and Lewis Black, that's where my funny bone is located...:)

"The worst day I've ever had at any SF park" award goes to...(*insert drum roll*)....SFA. Thankfully, subsequent visits were VASTLY improved, although the staff there could stand to take a course or two in Southern Hospitality...

To prove redman's point...

"Kids in the Hall" is still one of my favorite sketch comedy shows to watch, even though it has been in reruns for years.

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

Bill, I seriously did not know your feelings regarding KitH...

I _do_ however love old NewsRadio episodes and Dave Foley was great in it...Gosh that was a great cast...Steven Root (loved him in OfficeSpace..."My Swingline stapler"), Maura Tierny, Andy Dick and Phil Hartman (RIP)...
