So they'll actually have some for a change!

And of course I was correct about the two new slides & kids cove rennovation.

The Proslide Mammoth will be called Bahama blast & of course Tornado will just use the generic name, also monsoon lagoon will be renamed Hurricane bay....I wonder if they plan on renaming any existing slides in the waterpark.

I like the colors shown for Bahama blast but hope the colors shown for Tornado aren't the final colors the park plans to use.

BatwingFan...simple answer...yes...

There's all the new ride names (may need to reload)...

THIS IS SO KOOL. I hope that SFI sees an increase in attendence this season at SFA! GREAT JOB, I am content!
Well, Tornado will be those colors, Batwing Fan SFA. Why? Because 1) The parks dont chose the color scheme of new rides. They may have imput but final approval must come from corp. and 2) Every other Tornado is those colors.
I told you so!
The 2005 SFA map has already been released and the Tornado will rest between Paradise Plunge and The Deer Park Plunge. Bahama Blast will be located right under the Paradise Plunge and Reef Runner. And the Buccaneer Beach will be located just right of the Bahama Blast. I hope that this year that that uhly green pavment will go away. anyone else hope that too?

If you don't kow were all those slides are try this site link

Oh my! BATWINGFANSFA was correct?

But he only repeated here what he read on Screamscape! Does that make him correct? or just the cut and paste king? lol

Does he work for Dippin Dots?

The correct placement of the new slides and attractions.........

Tornado will be between Hammerhead/Mako and Paradise Plunge/Reef Runner.

Bahama Blast will be between Crocodile Cals and Paradise Plunge/Reef Runner.

Buccaneer Beach will be between Deer Park Plunge and Hurricane Bay (In the same basic area that the old kids play area was)

It's about time SFA adds something to thier park while PKD and BGW beat them into the ground lol
Thank the gods. The waterpark is finally getting a sorely needed makeover.

Anyone think Dan Snyder wanted SFA to sell personal seat licenses to the new Cabana's and then charge a per ticket fee to use them? :)

Lol, maybe Snyder is why parking cost went up to $10. Figures if he cant get his money by forcing walkers to FedEx Field to drive and pay the HUGE parking fee, the least he could do is get the parking fee at SFA bumped up a little. Well, good thing he's out of the Six Flags picture once again. All I can say is for such a limited budget, SFI has really done a wonderful job in making that money stretch as far as possible. I agree that the waterpark makeover at SFA was MUCH needed and it'll be great to finially see that area of the park get some much needed TLC. Here's to a great 2005 and the hope that it well be enough to have a great 2006 as well!
Hurrican Harbour? I hate ripoffs, they transfer them from one park to another, for expample, Geauga Lake had Hurrican Harbour in its Six Flags Days (SFWoA), they renamed it to Hurrican Hannah, but couldn't they think of something more creative? They are just trying to keep up on the water-park craze with these tornadoe slides.
But let's not forget it was you who stated that screamscape's info at the time was incorrect....when in fact it was correct all along.

You just felt the need to blast me for posting what was at the time unconfirmed information from an outside source regarding just what the park would be adding this year.

Neogeo1999: this is SF we're talking about here,PKD & BGW are given much bigger annual budgets for new attractions/improvements annualy while SF just focuses on between 3 & 5 of their parks per season on average as far as new rides go.Now I doubt we'll see anything major in 06(probably a 20th anniversary bash for Wild one) but 05 performance could lead to something nice in 07,I'm crossing my fingers for a new coaster but am not wiling to get my hopes up for one at the present time.

I never said the info was incorrect, I said it was not confirmed....

I blasted you for posting rumors as being fact.....

FWIW you were never correct! Screamscape was......

Nobody cares that you were correct.

You have been wrong so many times before.

Nobody cares.

Sam?

For some reason your statement "the cut and paste king" had me almost spew my coffee onto the computer screen.

Good one. :)

Of course someone on here had to ***** and moan that SF is using the same name for a waterpark again. Locals near SFA could care less that SF is using the Hurricane Harbor name at other parks.

Well at least it's not me complaining about the name change,it's about time they gave the waterpark a makeover & name change because it needed both.
Agent Johnson, I wouldn't be so proud. I distinctly remember you saying in an earlier thread that the waterpark expansion wouldn't take place UNTIL 2006. If I misinterperted your comments then please explain yourself.

I for one am so happy that this day has come. It means that we only have a month or less before the next round of fighting between Sam and BatwingFanSFA starts. Let's enjoy the vacation.

While this is nowhere the level of what SFNE has, at least it's something and we still got more stuff than SFDL:) Sorry, I had to.
