...it was apparent that things were happening, and the transformation was underway, however the park asked that I not divulge details. So out of respect for the parks wishes, I can't tell ya, or hint at what's up.

...and that is a big reason why the park is willing to *continue* working with Sam...;)

When they tell him to "go ahead and share", then I'm sure Sam will post whatever info he has...:)

GEEZ!, can you believe it we have a few more hours before that announcement. I know that what ever is coming is not going to be huge but as long as SFA is taken into consideration...that counts. Any final speculations...to see if you were close to the rumors.....lol

Can't Wait!!! hope is one of those high tech slides.

Patience is a virtue my friend... the announcement should be coming somewhere between midnight and noon, so by my counts, that means it's somewhere from 8 to 20 hours away as of this posting. As for what they're getting, I've exhausted my brain thinking about that question since the end of last season and even more since the hints have been posted by the park, but seeing as how it's in the waterpark,...my guess is that whatever it is, it's probably from ProSlide... other than that, you're guess is as good as anyones...

I was right in regards to the two slides we're getting...Proslide tornado & mammoth slides.

The one thing I wasn't counting on was the name change of the wave pool from monsoon lagoon to hurricane bay however.

I'm so glad you learned to cut and paste things from Screamscape.

If you're so informed, why haven't you told anyone about the 2 coasters that are getting paint?

Yeah!! REALLY good year for SFA if what you say is true. Hmmm, Mind Eraser and....Batwing? Mind Eraser really needs the paint, and Batwing has a bit of a splotchy look, but I guess just as easily Wild One could be repainted, especially after replacing so many of the supports so recently.

I'm still looking for the thread where he made this great prediction.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Ok so which two coasters are getting paint? I take it ME & hopefully superman as both rides could use it but then again JJ & Batwing are allso in need of a paint job as well.

Wrong again Sam....I hardly ever ask any SFA staff if they've got any info regarding new attractions, anyhow this'll be good for the park because as we all know SFA's waterpark is rather busy most of the time during peak season & the more peeps they can pack into HH the better because it means far fewer peeps in lline ahead of me for the coasters.

I say the Great Chase is the only coaster getting a paint job. ;)

Great chase isn't in need of any paint....or is it?

GC is so darn rough I say replace it with one of those spinning mouse coasters or one similar to SFNE's new for 05 model.

Well we finally know what sfa got, but all I want to know now or rather see now is what it currently looks like. Can anyone tell me where on the net I can see the current stages?

^Yeah me too,I'm sure someone will get a few construction pics by opening day but that's still seven weeks from now...too bad there's not an SFA webcam like at SFGRAM & SFGRADV then we can see up to the minute footage of the construction progress being made.

Who here plans on going to the park on opening weekend? hopefully I can make it on opening day(weather permitting of course)unlike last season when I went on sunday instead when it was so cold & attendance so low that they closed the park 2 hours early.

Why would SFA need a webcam? Who wants to see paint dry?

It's funny to think that just a few months ago Batwing Fan was threatening to not buy a SFA season pass and not go to SFA at all in 2005 and now he's talking about being there opening day.

Anyways, I agree that a webcam isn't really needed. I mean, construction pictures would be nice, but personally I'll be happy to be surprised when the waterpark opens and I can go in and see it all for myself.

As for being there opening day, ya, I'll be there. I have MCATs the next weekend, but I'll be so sick of studying that a nice break will do me good...
