Six Flags adding 95 million in new capital

Are Twisted Sisters REALLY going to be demolished? Is that the word on the street? It doesn't matter much to me, just curious.

With Six Flags New Orleans possibly under new ownership, and that rumor of Six Flags being able to remove the rides "they" installed, do you think "Jester" could find a home somewhere else as well as those 3 flat rides: The Vekoma Windsheer, the Jukebox Polyp and the Catwomans Whip... depending on their conditions of course.

I also gotta wonder.. is there any plan to ever put up the other 2 Six-Flags owned remaining Astroworld coasters.. the Ultra Twister and the Batman Escape? I wouldn't personally. But I haven't heard much about those recently.

I think this could hurt ticket sales next summer.

I heard to make it more realistic the load or "queuing" times for each mini game lasts up to 2 hours, it only runs at about 20 FPS, and at least 10 out of those 40 mini games will be down from time to time.

^^B:TE apparently was sold off to PARC along with the DL park - since it still sits across the street from that park. Considering they went ahead with the Motocoaster, I'm not sure they're intent on rebuilding it. Ultratwister, from too many reliable sources, was somehow damaged in deconstruction or transport from SFAW. Not sure if the damage is even reparable...

I sure would like to get a shot at Jester, though...an entire coaster running backwards would be interesting even if painful/nauseating. Just missed it on my first San Antonio trip, and then my SFNO trip got cancelled just a couple months before Katrina hit...

edit: Checked out rcdb to look up Ultratwister, and saw that Invertigo is listed as SBNO - I though I had gone too early in the season and that it would open after scholl let out...apparently not. Shame too, the Invertigo is a great ride - maybe reinstalling that at another park is included as part of the $95M budget?

^Jester was actually a tight ride, the only headbanging happened during the final helix, but the loop was amazing, because it seemed like it stopped at the top, and you got major hang time, but the corkscrews and the rest of the ride, are just so so.
