Sfwoa Hyper Location..?

I heard that the Zebra attraction is only going in until they get the lost world built...the lost world is supposed to be African themed so that's where the zebra's will be going.

Basically you can't decide who it "should" be...but who you *want* it to be...it's everyones personal opinion. Me...I'd like an Intamin like SFH's Goliath...but if we end up with a Chance Morgan that has the ejector air of Phatom's Revenge with a longer layout and a nice tight helix, I will be extremely happy.

What's the new restraint system they are working on BTW?

lets just hope.

This would be like what the 2nd morgan at a SF's park did SFM build theirs. I think Sfwoa will do good with it they are good with fitting coasters in a small place. Who would ever thought B:KF would be the longest floorless in the world. The more compact the more intensity.

well, i am a huge B&M fan, so, of course, i wouldn't mind seeing a Hyper Beemer come to my home park... buuuut, i've ridden B&M and Intamin hypers before... are they kick booty?... yes! (each for their own reasons).

i wouldn't mind seeing a Chance-Morgan (which, i've heard, is what they will build)... i've never ridden one, tho, but i've heard good things.

as far as layout is concerned, i don't understand the illustration from the newspaper... it is completely curvy!... no straight area for a lift hill... it says the lift will rise towards happy harbor behind the ski stadium... well, if the papers drawing is correct, it will be the only 'curving to the left' lifthill in existence!... whatever it is, i am happy because of...

B&M - BKF - 2000

CCI - Villian - 2000

INTAMIN - S:UE - 2000

VEKOMA - X-Flight - 2001

HYPER - 2003

whatever they build, i give big ol' props to SF and WOA for making some of the greatest capital improvements (as far as a coaster fan goes), within a short amount of time, for ANY park, EVER.

I still laugh over how Six Flags bought two Morgans which Morgan announced but then where are they? SFM and SFWoA couldn't get them up all winter, not one piece!!!!!

One quick question. Wha'ts the name of the hyper going to be? Is it still rumored to be called "Swamp Thing" at all? I heard that name came up earlyer in the year.

I doubt that illustration is a very accurate representation of the actual coaster footprint. It probably does give a rough estimation, though.

You have a good point, though - SFWOA has treated us well in recent years, and I'm sure it will continue.

Both the coaster trains were the same color(roughly), so I'm wondering if Six Flags will call it Superman:The Escape as well? I also remember that the show track was black but that may just have been for showcase.

Morgan air time is very strong and I believe SFWoA may get a better ride than MF. *Hint* most people who have ridden them both perfer Steel Dragon 2000 over Millenium Force.

Here's Hoping it's B&M steel that will be arriving at SFWoA this winter.

Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society-Chicago Chapter

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be too pleased if It were B&M. After riding Raging Bull this past weekend, I've found Intamin to be much more thrilling with their designs. B&M is still an amateur at this whole hyperthing, and I suggest they stick to Making the Mega-Loopers. They are awesome, thats where arrow Gave up.

Take a look at this pic. It might be a litte outdated but you can still see the area where the hyper would go. Hope this link works:

I really don't care who makes it but I'm hoping for a B & M for one reason, variety. In Ohio we already have a Arrow hyper, a Intamin giga, a hyper woodie and KW has a Morgan (mostly anyway) hyperesque just a few short hours away. That leaves Morgan, Gio and Togo. Seeing as I've already ridden a Gio and Togo (do they even exist anymore) I'm all about getting a chance to ride a Beemer within reasonable driving distance. I also hope that the SFM hyper will be an Intamin, but that's a different thread.

People Who Know(TM) say it's an Intamin ride. Given the triumphs in New England and Holland, would you want anything else?

Nope i agree completely Jeff. Man I guess we just agree on a lot looking at the something big coming to Cp forum. I really don't want anything else other than an Intamin. I think they should some how implement a Stengle Dive in this thing too, somewhere around the turnaround maybe, that'd be great.

I really could care less as long as the ride is intense and has a unique layout. Which I'm pretty sure it will have.
