SFStL 2006 Happenings.

I'll just take your word for it as I have no desire to ride it again, if I ever go back to the park. Missy has pretty much written off this park as she did not enjoy it very much. In her words "extremely dirty and nothing unique enough to bring me back". With that being said, I really like Scorcher, but I don't know if I'll be "allowed" to go back. I know she will never go back to PKI as that park really pissed her off, never seen her that mad before and don't care to have her that mad at me. Poor Customer Service person... never knew what hit him.
I'll be sure to avoid the tilting towers.

I had no idea that there was crotch pain involved. :(

Well it is a "standup" drop tower. You have to have pressure put on something and unfortunately for guys it is the most important part of the body. Missy even said it hurt her when we rode it -- that's how bad it is. I'm sure you wife wouldn't like it either Jive.

Hey are you going to go to SDC on opening day?

Is that a whip I hear cracking? ;)

I'm really happy for SFStL, probably for SE's paintjob more than the tower!

There was crotch pain the first time I rode Arco @ SFOG, but like Bill, I learned how to ride. Second ride was wild. It was an amazing feel to watch the ground approach so quickly! The trick I used was to get as far back in the seat as I could and completely staple myself. It kept everything in the "right position" and it was a great ride. Don't avoid it because of some people's bad experience.
I hate having to ride a certain way. I prefer rides that don't require pre-launch thinking or adjustments.

Neuski, you're just jealous that she has been on more coasters than you. ;)

They got another piece up today. The weird thing is, this one is orange. So if you are keeping track, we now have blue - green - orange - blue - orange and then one last section of green. That combination makes no sense to me, but whatever.

I can't deny that. ;)

Maybe you could have Missy send Beth a line and convince her that more coasters are good for a relationship.

Convince her that your relationship needs to move to the next level -- she needs to go to Coaster Mayhem and then Missy can help turn her to the "darkside."

Shoot even Jive's woman could help, she'll be there. Jive do you want to go play in Peanuts Playhouse again? ;)

I was real close to head out West again this year, but I think we're going to be going East to visit my sister in North Carolina. So, Dollywood, Carowinds, and the Myrtle Beach coasters will be in store.

I'm trying not to push her too far to get her to Holiday World in the Fall.

Does a one armed man swim in a circle? Of course I want to play in the Peanuts Playhouse again. ;)

My wife is also real good at selling the benefits of visiting every park possible. She's helped to turn several couples to the dark side.

^I take that as a "yes". I know we had fun :)

Acrophobia's 2nd Green piece is up now, all that is left is the blue topper

The best part was nailing the parents that just weren't smart enough to move out of the way. How many times to you have to get shot with foam balls to realize that you're getting shot? Seriously? ;)

Steve is doing a great job with the updates. He most have a great zoom. I wish I had a better zoom. :(

The ride was completed today as the blue "cap" piece was put on with 6 American flags on top.

Three months ago the ride was operating for the last time in Houston. Now it's been painted and reinstalled in it's new home in a short period of time.

Here some pictures of the "Six Flags" on top of the ride.

I must say Dungeon Drop...errr Acrophobia looks great against the hillside. I was afraid it might look a little shorter there compared to how it dominated over the Texas plains. Hopefully they get all the sides working.

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
