That lawsuit was about 3 years ago, but the hostilites were brewing since the late 70's with the land owner partnership. SFG is in great shape, clean, no graffiti, compared to the other SF.
IMO opinion the Scorcher is horrible. By far the worst B&M I've ever ridden. Also it is the only B&M I've been on I disliked. The reason I think most people think it is good is because it is the only standup in the south. That ride is only about 30sec. Another bad thing about that park is that the employes are so rude! You have a question or are looking for something they will always give you some smart reamark or just ignore you.

I love the Scorcher. I have ridden many stand ups. I think the Scorcher is the best of them all. One of the things I like about Scorcher is that it is not just one inversion right after another. It does more than just turn you upside down. It is short, so what. Mr. Freeze is short, Schwarzkopf shuttle loops are short. That does'nt mean that they are not good rides. I would much rather ride a short FUN ride than a long mediocre ride.
Tell 'em Buzzo! Even thought the Scorcher is short, it's still a great ride. At least it's not a short, beat the crap out of you ride! Look at the Ninja, it takes forever to get to the top of the thing, only to beat you up on the way back down, and as long as it is, it starts to hurt after a while. Anyway, back on subject, I talked to someone down there a few days ago and they said that the Air Racer is already being torn down. But as far as new roller coasters are concerned, he didn't leak anything.:( Oh well, we all will have wait and see!

What is life without ups and downs!?!?
IMO the Scorcher isn't just short but it has a boring layout. It's all crammed to this little place and the only thing it does is all these little twists and turns. It also only has a 90ft first drop and you get no air or anything. Well I guess it's not B&M's fault that they had to cram a stand up in some tiny little place whith now room. I mean it could've been better with a little more room.

The Scorcher has air. Ride it in the back.
Georgia Scorcher is the most re-ridable standup I ever been on. It doesn't try to break your legs like Chang or Mantis. And I loved the back seat of the first drop. It reminded me of Raging Bull.
The Georgia Scorcher is not the only stand-up in the South. Carowinds has the Vortex, which is a very short B&M Stand-up. Also, I believe it is one of the first of it's kind.
Yikes, goonsta, you make Raging Bull sound like it has a crappy drop! :)
I was expecting some decent airtime off the drop on Scorcher, but it didn't deliver. Raging Bull's drop is like, a million jillion times better, IMO.
To each his/her own, I guess!

"Legend 1 looks too intense for me."
The Scorcher has tuns of Air Time especally when it was brand new and didn't have the trims at the top of the hill on. I am really dissapointed that SFoG dosen't appear to be putting in anything new this year. That park is in need of some new flat rides, not to mention a hyper-coaster.
