SFOG Announcement Date!!!

I just thought I'd post this pic of the inverted lift hill to support the issue that it is a flyer.

Actually, it's another invert.  It's going to strech all the way to BTR, and they're going to be renamed "Dueling Superheroes."

What do y'all think the name will be for this coaster?  I'm going with Superman: Ultimate Flight.  Try not to be as hilarious as Skittlebrau.  :)

It will be named "The Incredible Inverted Log Flume of 2002", and is SFoG's answer to the Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain....;~).    Or considering the '01 DelayjaVu fiasco, it could be named "the on-time coaster".

When I got home today, what did I find? A clear envolope with glitter and superman symbols floating around! It was my official "boarding pass" to the January 22 press conferance!

It will be a Wonder Twins themed coaster called "Wonder Twin Powers Active : Form of a Tiger, Form of a Water Bridge"!

I suggest the abbreviation WTPA:FOAT,FOAWB

"2002 - Superman Coaster - (1/17/02) One of our readers is Kentucky reported seeing B&M track driving southbound on I-75, most likely for the new Flyer here. The track was reported to be bright red with orange rails. So far, I’ve yet to see any photos of track posted anywhere else."

I also noticed they have 2 B&M Flying (IoA and SFOG) and only one B&M Flying Coaster (AT) do you think there is a difference??

Yeah well, they also have IoA's B&M Flying called Pteradactyl Flyers.  I'm sure that will fly.  No pun intended.

Can you see it?  A kid wants to ride Pteranadon Flyers but accidentally gets in line for Pteradactyl Flyers.  Hmm.  A kiddie ride or a full size adult coaster. 

C'mon.  That's pure speculation at best.  And a marketing nightmare.

Coasterforce also lists a B&M Inverted for Valleyfair in 2002, and we know that ain't gonna happen.  That list is FULL of errors.  Don't look for a Flyer at IOA anytime soon.

Kick the Sky, if I recall coreectly, Jana said "Form of (some animal)", and Zam (Sam?, never did get that) said "Shape of (water-related thing)".  Yes, I am old enough to remember the Wonder Twins.  But I'm still hoping the new USF coaster turns out to be the rumored Intamin Apollo13, we have *enough* Beemers here already!
