SFOG Announcement Date!!!

SFoG has reported that the will make a major announcement on January 22, just a little under 2 weeks, and they will open for the 2002 season on March 23.  I know everyone has been patiently anticipating this announcement date since October, and it is finally here people.  Round of Applause.
Is it true that it is supposed to be a B&M Flying Coaster called, what else, Superman?  If so, are there any other parks getting B&M Flying machines this year?
What is your source?
Bleh I submitted this for news :P. The Six Flags website says it. Something SUPER.

It is from the official SFOG website.

Closed for the Season
Keep checking for a SUPER announcement on January 22nd. Join us at the park Saturday, March 23rd, for the opening day of the 2002 season.

That just confirms that the name will be Superman, if you didn't think it would be already. SUPER announcement gives it away, IMO. My prediction, Superman: Flight of Destiny or Superman: Ultimate Flight.

Although the ride will probably be spectacular, I think the name will be even worse than those listed above.

Superman: Flight Club

Superman: Flight in the Loafers

Superman: Blinded by the Flight

Superman: Cold Soar

Superman: The Flying Game

Superman: Cold Soar....... LOL!

So, is it supposed to be a B&M Flyer or no?

Superman: A Floorless coaster that has a double station that we put in just to fool all of you little enthusiasts into thinking it was a B&M flyer when in fact it isn't so HA HA to you!

That's the name!!!!!!!!!

u guys r so jealous, its so funny.

Its a B&M Flyer.  I can't believe this is even up for debate anymore despite the lack of an official announcement.  Sheesh!
You're wrong Mamoosh, it could still be a giga.  You never know until they announce.

Ahem.

Ummm...no.  Floorless coasters or gigas do not have B&M Inverted lift hills.  I drove by the park today.  The final lift support has been erected, the entire floor is attached, and most of the track is also attached to the lift supports.  It is about 100 ft. high, so I assume the 106 ft. on rcdb is on target.  The lift supports are blue and the lift floor and lift track ar red and red/yellow, respectively.

I think some people are still in denial.  ;-)
I've seen a picture of the inverted lift-hill!!!!!!!!

Its going to be a B&M Flyer. It will be short, but it will be longer and higher than Air. It will be 106 feet high.
I wonder if it will also have a right handed curving drop into an "upside down vertical loop' (Pretzel Loop thingy) into a diving left handed helix that will thread aforementioned loop, then into a right handed 180º turn, then into a 180º left hand turn, then into a right handed 270º helix and finally into a heartline, then into the brakes, complete with a right handed 150º turn into the storage area, and then unloading in the station house.

Boy, wouldn't that be something!

But I still say it could be an Intamin hyper, no way would they ever get a B&M Flyer!

It better be an Intamin giga, or I'm never going to SFOG again!  ;)
