Ick, now that i think about it, you are right. Still, the character is more recognizable with the red costume, so i still highly doubt the robin theme, especially without a batman coaster first. Still, much stranger things have happened.

If you watched the Batman animated series you would recognize robin's suit in the George Clooney movie as that of Nightwing (Dick Grayson's Robin when he went out on his own) with a cape added
Two more things first a ride named Batgirl sounds good for a kiddie/family ride not a large coaster second, its not above sixflags to reuse the same name in the same park sfgradv has 2 rides with batman in the name this new coaster could be some form of joker or nightwing and they could always rename the flat rides too
