SFMM NEW FASTLANE

"I have just thought of a superb solution to this FastPass which I think is Quite Fair to All People.

Now I always see RollerCoaster Trains leave with the odd Free Seats here and there, so how about this, People With FastPass only Fill up the empty seats instad of blocking off rows.

So Basiclly Everyone queueing up normally Gets to go on First, And If for example, there are 5 empty seats, They fill these seats up with the FastLane People, If there is just 1 Free Seat, Just 1 Person gets on and so on and so on. Now Granted this would have the FastLane Line a litte bit Longer, but I think this is a fair solution to all People. I mean Lets be honest, how many times have you seen trains leave the station complety full(Its Quite Rare really) so by just filling in empty seats for FastLane People, You keep everyone happy."

which gets to Single Express like what IOA's Hulk has..
Speaking of single rider lines, I think they are some of the greatest things ever heh. Every ride should have them.
Why does SFMM need the fastlane system anyways. The lines are never that long enough to use them. This summer I've been there on saturday, sunday, tuesday, and monday and the lines were never long. Everyday I went I got to ride everything twice, and sometimes three times. The only rides I think they should use them for is Riddlers and Superman.
PaulD, I totally agree with you! Having Fastlane people fill up the empty seats prevents the other people from waiting in line longer. That is such a great idea! Too bad SFMM probably won't figure that out.
When I went it was 10 rides for 15 dollars, but only 4 coasters were on the fastlane list.

I concur. Problem is, most guests have a problem with being split up from their party. At least that's the way they act in the station where they let for and five groups cut them just so they can all be on the same train. But when I was @ IOA & Epcot, the singles line had people. So maybe people would use it if they had that option.

BTW: I think a singles line is a necessity on any 4 across coaster!

Fastlane at Magic Mountain? I doubt I'll be going there anytime soon. SFA had the best fastlane system: only one row per train set aside for fastlane. If Magic Mountain's system is like Marine World's, I might just have to write a nasty letter :)
Are there any other rides outside of Florida that have a singles line besides Apollo's Chariot?
I see a lot of People seem to agree with me about My Rule, In that they should Only Fill in the Empty Seats with FastLane People, This Way, The Normal Line Still Moves at the Normal Pace and No Rows have to be Blocked off
So I was thinking, Why dont you all go and actually Suggest this Idea to SFMM or SFWOA or any of the other Six Flags Park that Do this FastLane. I presume you can actually go upto Customer Services at the park and Request a Customer Comment Form or something like that. It wont Hurt to Write Down and suggest this, Infact the more people that Do it, the more the park will get the Message, and its always worth trying something because you will never know what will happen. Of Course I would Definatly do this if I lived near SFMM or WOA but I live in England so I cant really :p

So all I can say is, Give it a try if anyone is willing to do so, and see what happens.
Which 10 rides? Or is it any ride?

list ride change every day
Everybody knows that the main revenue earner for any park are the locals. Although many parks like DL, KBF, SFMM, WDW or IOA depend on tourists to supplement their incomes, it is the Season Pass holders who keep a Park open.

If Fastpass was a revenue-grabber as most say, then it would make sense to limit it to high-end services. Examples:

Six Flags Season Pass holders (good at all 6F Parks) get Fastpass privileges. More Season Pass sales. Good Return business next season.

WDW is the classic example. Limit Fastpass to Resort guests only. Will force visitors to stay on-site. More opportunity to take your money if you are on their property.

However in its current form, FastPass is nothing to do with getting you on rides quickly, its about getting you off them as quickly as possible.
It makes sense that a customer who is queueing or rideing is not spending. THEY WANT YOU SPENDING!

I like the idea behind what they have at IOA with their Resorts, multi-day passes and the public not so long ago. Resort guests show room keys to get express access. Multi-day passes could draw up to 3 fastpasses/hour. Single day tickets could only draw one fp/hour. They're still working on it but the same can be done at 6F Parks with Season, Resident and Single day passes.

The biggest bane of Fp systems are re-riders. People come thru the Fp line, ride then enter the Fp line repeatedly are the one who responsible for stalling stand-by lines. They should limit the number of re-rides in a peeriod or this could be govern by the Fp heirarchy mentioned above.

The other thing which is annoying is the number of people who wait at the express line entrances waiting for the exact minute their Fp window opens up. Anyone whos been to WDW and waited at RocknRoller Coaster knows what Im on about. How stupid is this? They may as well do what they do at WDW Restaurants and issue pagers for rides and someone can page you when your RnRC or ToT ride is ready! Crazy!

Phew! I feel much better now. I'll be looking at the improvements when I visit Orlando over Labour Day weekend and see how things have changed from last year.

'Til then Keep Cool 'til back to Skool.

Well at SFMM, you can either ride that one ride 4 times or ride rides for 4 times
