Thank you for not feeding the trolls and enjoy the rest of your day, here at CoasterBuzz.com. CLEAR!
$15.00 bucks, for 10 rides, that's an awesome deal because SFGAm fastlane pass cost $10 bucks for 4 rides.

Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)

$15 for TEN rides. SFGAm is $10 for only FOUR rides. Considering SFMM has 15 coasters, and I assume is probably pretty crowded, I'd say this is a GREAT DEAL. If you want t ocomplain about being ripped off, complain about the food and drink prices !

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) The Legend
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze
Pretty much the final nail in SFMM's coffin, for me at least. It's a shame that this park, which should be among the top 5 in the world, isn't even in my top 5 in the state!
I went to SFMM on Sunday and i was charged $15.00 for up to four rides. Ten rides for fifteen bucks is a great deal, considering lines were about 90 minutes long. In addition to being good for only up to four rides, it didnt include Batman or Superman.
It didnt hurt because i have a season pass, but if i had to pay for admission i wouldnt have bought fastlane passes.
Fastpasses should ALL be eliminated. Their primary function is to increase park revenue, not increase rides. Those with fastlane passes may get a few more rides by the end of the day, but overall they reduce the number of total rides that can be given by increasing loading times. Remember, rides have "theoretical maximum capacity". Longer loading procedures result from guests who require "special attention" in any fashion, and this includes fastpass!

Do you think that depending on what day of the week it is, determines how many rides you can use it on? Does the fastlane allow you to choose any seat, or is it assigned seating? Not that I am going to ever use it, I am just wondering. I only go to MM in the off season when every line is a fastlane ;) I have to remember not to confuse fastlane, with Disney's "free" Fastpass.

I mostly agree with you. They should be eleminated if you must pay the park money. Ones like IOA's where they are free are good, but making people pay money creates a caste system in the park. That isn't a good thing to have there.

Wha ever happened to the free FastPass, liek Disney and Universal. Frankly I think Six Flags is going about it wrong. Six Flags Over Texas was developed to be a place where you PAY ONE PRICE. Paying $10-$15 to ride rides without standing in line, seems like a good idea, but when you add admission ($30+) it gets stupid. It's like going to a carnival or fair. You pay a price to get in then more money just to ride the things. I say go back to the free fast pass if you have it at all.

Well, for Goliath they allowed to pick a seat, but for Batman and Riddler you could not get front seat,

It may change Monday they had ten rides so i don't know what other day where ( water rides )
where on there too

Most of the time they let you pick your seat.

I have just thought of a superb solution to this FastPass which I think is Quite Fair to All People.

Now I always see RollerCoaster Trains leave with the odd Free Seats here and there, so how about this, People With FastPass only Fill up the empty seats instad of blocking off rows.

So Basiclly Everyone queueing up normally Gets to go on First, And If for example, there are 5 empty seats, They fill these seats up with the FastLane People, If there is just 1 Free Seat, Just 1 Person gets on and so on and so on. Now Granted this would have the FastLane Line a litte bit Longer, but I think this is a fair solution to all People. I mean Lets be honest, how many times have you seen trains leave the station complety full(Its Quite Rare really) so by just filling in empty seats for FastLane People, You keep everyone happy. What do you think of this Idea, It Could Work I suppose, Or is this just to simple for Six Flags to think about???

I have to agree with most of you, I dont like this FastPass Business, especially when you have to Pay for it, All it does it upset people when you are about to get on the ride, but keep seeing people nick your Seat, I just think thats Wrong, Terribly Wrong, I just dont see how that is Good Business Sense, At the end of the day, If you were manager of a Theme Park, the last thing you need is Unhappy customers coming upto you and saying FastLane is Crap etc.

I have to agree, a swift end must come to the "fastpass". It is the dumbest idea ever to hit the amusement park business.

I wonder if I'll still feel this way once X opens? ;)

I'd like a tall CCI out and back, and a grande nonfat Latte to go please!
I agree 100% about putting the fast pass people on the empty seats. If they don't do this then I still think they should make single rider lines. When I was at SFMM last week and my wife and her little sister left to go shopping, it left me all alone. I hated watching every train leave it's station with empty seats and I was stuck waiting in line. I would have ridden in any of those seats!

Yeeee Haaawwww!
I dont get it, sure Magic Mtn gets crowded, but all the lines except for Superman move pretty fast. I went on Friday June 15th and the longest line I waited in was 30 minutes and that was for Arrowhead Splashdown.

If they must have Fastlane they should do it like Disney. Have a separate entrance for Fastlaners. These people then join the regular line at a point close to the boarding area. That way everyone boards as normal with NO empty seats going to waste.
The only fast-pass system I've used was FastLane at SFoG, and I absolutely loved it.... I could scan my pass at Batman, and go ride Mindbender while others stood in Batmans 45 minute line. Then I could head back and hop on.

Me no like fastlane. This really pissed me off when I went to DCA like a month ago. I mean, what the hell it's like having special priveleges. Call me old fashioned (even though i'm 17) but I think you should still wait in line for the position you want in a coaster.

Oh, and then on the Grizzly River Run, 2 kids didn't know how to use fastpass and just ran through the line flashing the little card at everyone to make them get outta the way. It ended when they got to me and my cousin ;)

"Goliath Jr. looks to intense for me"
"I want to go on something more exciting than X"
THey do join in at the station, Fastlane join at the station then you just pick what lane you want to, you don't go directly on the ride right away except for Batman ,Riddler
