Not sure who it will be by might be an S&S but it could be an Intamin if Xcellorator is a hit.
Why would they put a coaster that is similiar to a coaster that isn't very far away?

I still believe that SFMM is going to get a woodie next year. I also think that Knott's is going to be the one to build a Hypersonic first on the West Coast. They seem to want to build something groundbreaking. Here's hoping we get something new, as I will always consider X "new for 2001" no matter when the damn thing finally opens.
I doubt that Knott's will have a Hypersonic, that would be pointless, it's to simular to what they are building right now. Think about it... 2 semi identical rides in the same park.

Out of the coasters i've ridden here is what I rank them overall:(ive been to canobie lake and SFNE)
1. S:RoS 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Riverside Cyclone 4. Canobie
Corkscrew 5. Thunderbolt 6. Galaxy 7. Mind Eraser 8. Dragon coaster 9. poison ivy's tangl
Sorry IntaminAG but SFGADv recieves more people every year then SFMM does it seems odd but its true. Also GCI woodies are very smooth in my opinion.
I live in NJ about 20 mins from SFGADv so I can't complain but this major expansion on SFMM is getting ridiculous. I can understand if they get one every other year like SFGADv but do we really need 2 every year.
Second, I am sure parks view blueprints of all kinds of coaster when deciding what type they wish to build. Although the designs would vary in final product, one would still view the prototype or previous built plans.
Third, I am sure SFMM has had many bids on coasters to be built there. They probably have a whole storage area just for old coaster info from B & M, Intimin, CCI, and the like.
Fourth, designs or blueprints of a coaster mean nothing. I have several sets of blue prints for different structures, doe this mean I am going to build them all in my back yard.. NO
Fifth, to say that seeing 2 different designs means only one thing, 2 in 2002 in complete assumption. There is no logical basis for assuming this.
Sixth, rumors are rumors until a press release, or something is starting to go up.
Seven, We were discussing SFMM... no other parks.
Eight, I am tired of typong in this thread so I will stop here..

Planned Parks for this summer: CP, SFWoA, SFGAm, SFKK, PKI, MA, SFStL, HP, KW, SFMM, KBF. Is 11 enough?
Its funny to look back on this thread and marvel at all of the misinformation spread around here (the internet as a whole).
7 pulls 7 G's? I guess I survived that....
2 coaster for 2002. Seen all the construction pictures for those ones...
Just goes to show you that 99 percent of everything here is just rumor and 99.5 percent unsubstantiated and incorrect.

Personally, I don't think that somebody could have seen into an office and just randomly seen some plans for a coaster, much less two coasters. And there is quite a bit of crap out there, I don't buy it.
