SFMM Architectural Coaster Drawings Spotted

Only employess will be able to see them.  They are NOT in Cash Control, they are on the way to it.

Deja Vu's first run on media day through the banner: "That's a 65mph papercut!"

I think its funny how SFMM closed the shades to the room after I started this topic. I changed my s/n. So far, three other people have seen them.

Hmm Deja Vu dont u love how people who know nothing about SFMM always think they know something? First SFMM will be getting a Wooden Coaster, it will be by Intamin Since GCI's are rough CCI and SF hate each other and Vekoma is never to be trusted. I am sure this will go up by the Rapids, becuase there is alot of untapped land up there and it could attract the people going to Deja VU, or X/Viper, and the people coming down from Samuraii. Also to the people who say SF is in money problems, Duh its the off-season for all there parks, also since the attack happened so late in the Coaster Season thats another factor. And ALSO SFMM is SF number one money producer since it is open all year round. And i think dont qoute me on this a luanched coaster will go back by Deja Vu Not sure who it will be by might be an S&S but it could be an Intamin if Xcellorator is a hit. i think 2003 will be a good year. Also i expect jusr flat rides or a motion thing. No coaster for this year probably.
Why did SF choose MM as there main park? Just because its open all year?

Not sure who it will be by might be an S&S but it could be an Intamin if Xcellorator is a hit.

Why would they put a coaster that is similiar to a coaster that isn't very far away?

A Vekoma SLC would do Nebraska wonders! :-)

John9411...couldn't the same be said for CP and SFWoA with WT and S:UE???

Yeah, that is VERY true!

I still believe that SFMM is going to get a woodie next year. I also think that Knott's is going to be the one to build a Hypersonic first on the West Coast. They seem to want to build something groundbreaking. Here's hoping we get something new, as I will always consider X "new for 2001" no matter when the damn thing finally opens.

I doubt that Knott's will have a Hypersonic, that would be pointless, it's to simular to what they are building right now. Think about it... 2 semi identical rides in the same park.

Gonzo, when AdamFrank wrote that, Xcelerator wasn't announced yet. For a while, rumors pointed to a launched coaster, so everyone thought either impluse or, Intamin Launched, or a Hypersonic.

Yeah, bumping, old, obsolete threads tends to just gunk up the board and confuse people.

If the shoe fits, find another one.

I seriously think it's BS about how much crap SFMM has been getting. Maybe SF should invest in their heavily attended parks like SFGAdv....I mean what the hell...

Rollercoasters are my life, I think about them more than I think about....wait, thats all I think about :)

Umm Glenn SFMM recieves the most Visitors in the Six Flags Chain. Its only not put up with the other park stats becuase it is open all year round.

people proof read!

Out of the coasters i've ridden here is what I rank them overall:(ive been to canobie lake and SFNE)
1. S:RoS 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Riverside Cyclone 4. Canobie
Corkscrew 5. Thunderbolt 6. Galaxy 7. Mind Eraser 8. Dragon coaster 9. poison ivy's tangl

To get back onto the subject,
I'm sure there are many artist drawings and plans lying around in parks planning or R&D departments.
But it could mean several different things.
Remember there was a Giovanni Drop coaster artist rending with SFMM colosus in the background all over the web a year or so ago.
And not just once. . .A FEW TIMES! That's just rong.

Sorry IntaminAG but SFGADv recieves more people every year then SFMM does it seems odd but its true. Also GCI woodies are very smooth in my opinion.

I live in NJ about 20 mins from SFGADv so I can't complain but this major expansion on SFMM is getting ridiculous. I can understand if they get one every other year like SFGADv but do we really need 2 every year.

First of all, the frozen banana dude is always the number one source of info.

Second, I am sure parks view blueprints of all kinds of coaster when deciding what type they wish to build. Although the designs would vary in final product, one would still view the prototype or previous built plans.

Third, I am sure SFMM has had many bids on coasters to be built there. They probably have a whole storage area just for old coaster info from B & M, Intimin, CCI, and the like.

Fourth, designs or blueprints of a coaster mean nothing. I have several sets of blue prints for different structures, doe this mean I am going to build them all in my back yard.. NO

Fifth, to say that seeing 2 different designs means only one thing, 2 in 2002 in complete assumption. There is no logical basis for assuming this.

Sixth, rumors are rumors until a press release, or something is starting to go up.

Seven, We were discussing SFMM... no other parks.

Eight, I am tired of typong in this thread so I will stop here..

Planned Parks for this summer: CP, SFWoA, SFGAm, SFKK, PKI, MA, SFStL, HP, KW, SFMM, KBF. Is 11 enough?

Its funny to look back on this thread and marvel at all of the misinformation spread around here (the internet as a whole).

7 pulls 7 G's? I guess I survived that....

2 coaster for 2002. Seen all the construction pictures for those ones...

Just goes to show you that 99 percent of everything here is just rumor and 99.5 percent unsubstantiated and incorrect.

Xcelerator-
0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

Personally, I don't think that somebody could have seen into an office and just randomly seen some plans for a coaster, much less two coasters. And there is quite a bit of crap out there, I don't buy it.
