SFMM Architectural Coaster Drawings Spotted

(First of all, the following is 100% true)

On the way to Cash Control at MM, I looked in an empty office from outside a large window to see two large drafted drawings of coasters.  The first coaster had a drop that  looks exactly like X's, with the dip and the vertical drop.  Then there was a steep 2nd hill and a dive back to the ground.  Then was a large camelback hill.  I dont remember the rest of the ride.  The other drawing was a wooden-twister that kind of resembled Son of Beast.  What could this mean?  Only one thing.  2 in 2002.

I dont know.  Maybe, but I live in Socal and i think they need to give  some money to other parks.  We just got like 4 coasters and Goliath like a year or 2 ago.  But then again keep the coasters coming.

I think SFMM will just concentrate on getting X fully operational. It is too soon to be thinking about adding another large expansion such as two coasters.
If SF wants to go in MORE debt, go ahead. CP is still way better, cleanliness, stuff like that.  I heard those rumormed at a website earlier this year, but I still can't believe that would happen (6 coasters in 3 years).
It is still nice that there is competition, don't get me wrong.

Its more like 9 coasters in 5 years.

I beleive it.  Look back,  to 1997.  When S:TE opended nobody thought they would get a new coaster because S:TE was delayed so long.  They were rong, very rong.  Soon green tracked showed up followed by black supports.  It was Riddler.  After that people were sure nothing would come for awile. RONG AGAIN two years later Goliath was announced and Big G rose.  Then after that the biggest annoucment in SFMM history came.   X, Deja Vu and the Goliath Jr.  So people knowing SFMM and being a good friend of Deja Vu SFMM 2001 its most likly true.  SO DEAL WITH IT ;)

Id think the one that looks like X is probably like a Hypersonic, and on the wood, did it have a loop? If not I'd say probably like Ghostrider, but probably faster, and taller

Oh come on people, parks plan coasters years in advance. Even if I were to believe this(which I don't), it could be for something to be built years from now. And why must someone always mention CP in these types of threads.

This thread will detonate in...

Neither park is perfect. Neither park is better than the other. Can we all drop the whole CP vs SFMM crap now?

First of, I agree with Brandon, let's drop the whole CP vs. SFMM, it's very very childish.

There is more than enough room at SFMM. A few places include Rapids Camp Crossing, a good place for a woodie or the classic Mine Train coaster, Behind DeJa Vu for any type of coaster, behind Riddler's or Batman, you could add another DC comics ride (preferably not Superman), also the hill for Viper has space around it. A few of these coasters would be great if they were made with the terrain, since there are so many hills, etc.

Drive to theme parks for the food, stay for the coasters!! Knott's Fried Chicken

You also realize that if the theme park industry is anything like other industries, there are five or ten prospecive coaster designs submitted for every one built. And most of these designs will have people who back that option over the others. It is even quite possible that some high ranking type guy would take concept art of rides he or she was gunning for but did not happen and put them on the walls of his or her office. You say one looked like X? Probably an alternate layout for X....
I still believe that SFMM is going to get a woodie next year.  I also think that Knott's is going to be the one to build a Hypersonic first on the West Coast.  They seem to want to build something groundbreaking.  Here's hoping we get something new, as I will always consider X "new for 2001" no matter when the damn thing finally opens.

There is a LOT of room ON the mountain that could be used for a terrain driven woodie. he destruction of Psyclone is another possibility. The coaster has stood for 10years, was recently retracked, had a brand new coaster put right next to it, and SILL nobody rides it (IT SUCKS IMO too).

I am not gonna say that I dont believe the drawings were seen, but I would have to side with DWeaver (as usual). Most coasters are planned well in advance and before this year SFMM was on a new coaster every 2 yrs pattern. I would expect to see these in 2003.

Another SAD possibility, is that the one that resembled X's first drop is a REPLACEMEN MODIFICAION to X.   I dont really think so, but I wouldnt be TOO surprised.

If I have to fix my formatting one more time I am gonna SCREAM!!!!!!! @%$#
