has some great picts of Shockwave getting many of her "technical/operational pieces" being packed up for shipping. I think she could be re-installed for next year. I really think so.
Now, there seems to be some confusuion on how a coaster like SW could fit at SFKK. My answer is up from where the Roadrunner is. It would take some re-arranging, but if they moved the 4 rides out of there (Pirat, train RR, Sky Coaster) and relocated them elsewhere, and used a portion of the parking lot, I seriousy believe SW could fit. Or she could go behing T2.
Not to dash your hopes, but the surveyed area is not nearly 1/4 of the land that Shockwave would require. I persoanlly do not think SFKK is getting Shockwave.

Well assuming that the footer markings are for a new coaster & if it's a shuttle coaster then there are only two possibilites as to what type it might be.
Possibility # 1- Viper from SFOG, an obvious choice & one which should fit the height limits allowed by the park.
Possibility # 2- a used arrow shuttle like Python or Diamondback at Frontier city.
Of course the markers could very well be for something else alltogether, but if it is for a new coaster than it would be just what the park deserves due to how long it's been since their last coaster was installed.
Possibiity #3 would be an Intamin impulse, possibly even a 45 degree angled variation like the one at Marine World.
Reports are the SFOG's Viper is sitting in pieces without having been packed up, and that parts have been sold to another park. Likelihood of this happening diminishes, though isn't ruled out.
I find it hard to believe anyone would WANT an old Arrow shuttle though, like the one yanked out of Six Flags America. It's possible, but why?
