SFGAm...the new flagship park?

I like the assortment of stuff at SFGAm, but from an operational standpoint I think I'll take SFoG any day if we're talking about Six Flags parks.
For those wondering about SFGAm's attendence it's obvious Amusement Buisness was off with thier number. In the article linked below Shapiro states... “They pulled in more than 3 million people this year, which is absolutely amazing,” Shapiro said. “It’s a testament to how hard these people work to make customers happy.”

People "in the know" have been saying for years that AB's numbers are often off.

Sometimes startlingly so...or so I've been told.

SFGAm is VERY efficient when it comes to rides actually being operational. I've never been to SFoG so I can't say anything about the park but I doubt its any better than SFGAm in the category that you are talking about.

I don't get all the complaints. This is GREAT.

You will still feel the same when they dump WW/EV? ;)

Even if they don't, it looks like Wild Thing will be Seattle's major steel coaster for quite a while, LOL.

Of course, you could always hope that the folks behind the GNWTP take another look now...

If you've never been to SFoG, how can you say that you doubt it's any better?

Michael, because SFGAm's is very good. Who knows, SFoG may be better when it comes to rides being operational. I never said SFGAm WAS better, just said I doubt SFoG any better. *** Edited 1/29/2006 9:33:53 PM UTC by Blink3020***

Well, I've been to both parks and They are very good parks operationally. I would say that SFGA has a very nice appeal and in comparison to all of the other SF parks which I have visited looks the best. I'm talking about visuals and neatness of the placement of everything from the rides to the decoration and themeing. Both SFGA and SFOG have almost exactly the same type of rides except the V2 coaster but both are still great and in my book top tier parks.

Six Flags is a Diamond in the rough!
