SFGAm. Whats open?

Does anyone know SFGAm's "ride at closing time" policy? Do they close the queue early so the line is gone at closing time (which I thought was the typical SF policy).
i got in S:UF at 7:50pm, park closed at 8pm. I believe as long as you make it in the turnstyles, you are in line to ride. They cut off the front-seat line and had someone just sending groups of people up to the station rather than letting you wait for the front-seat.
If you are in line even 1-minute before closing time, you are guaranteed a ride(unless it breaks down of course) :)

Cool, thanks for the info... that makes it easier to plan the day if you "know" you can get a ride at closing.
That Doesnt meen that they have to let you IN the line. I have been there and at about 30 minutes to close they stop letting people go into the entrace line. Happens a lot.
Which ride?? I've *never* seen that happen in the years I've been going to SFGAm.

Same here. Never have I seen anyone denied access to get in line before the official closing time.

Of course maybe Deja-Vu was an exception but I am not sure about that either.

Yup, have to agree with coasterdude318 (dang there are a lot of coasterdudes on this site) on this one.

Whether it was Marriott's or Six Flags, I can't remember ever being at the park where they closed off a ride line earlier than the stated park closing time. This is not to say that it has never happened, but to say it happens "a lot" is probably not exactly correct either.

In any case, it sounds like things are running fairly well to kick off the season!

Well, I personally *have* seen SFGAm close a line down early. Granted, it was only once and again granted it was only about 10 minutes, the fact remains that it happen. On Raging Bull no less.

But it was weird to me as that particular night was the first time I could remember being at the park, near a ride line (other that the carousel) at the end of the night.

Ive also never had any problem getting into a line at closing time. I havent seen them close the line before the park closes.
When I went back on the 3rd, I thought for sure they would close down S:UF early just do to the length of the line earlier in the day. And when we were in line, they were saying things like "All the people waiting for the front, please be advised that you all will not get on the front row, we are only sending a limited number of trains." I was pretty far back in line at this point (just getting to the part of the line where the bridge once was) and thought they might not let us all in (afterall, it was a new ride, and a new year, I thought they might have changed their policy). But I did get my ride in, around 8:10 - 8:15pm
So some of you were there at 8:30 or so, though the park opened at 10? What time do they let you in the front? And as someone else asked, what part of the park is still chained until 10?
They usually open the parking lot at about 9:00 am. They start letting people in the gate around 9:30 am. The whole park is roped off except Carousel Plaza and a portion of Orlean's place. At 10:00 am they drop the ropes and open the entire park.
