SFGAm. Whats open?

I know this is a little soon to post but anyway. What was open on opening day at SFGAm? I will be going tomarrow no matter what (rain or shine:)). So I would just like to know if V2 and Dejavu was open. Thanks.
V2 and Deja Vu were not open today. I was there for a couple hours before coming into work.

V2: had a sign on the chains that roped across saying "Ride Will Not Operate Today". There was a couple people (in what looked to be the mechanics uniform) looking at the train in the station.

Deja Vu: I didnt look at the entrance, but in my quick walk by, I didnt see the train on the track.

As for Superman, I got into the park @ 9:50 am and the line stretched from the entrance of it's que, back to the picture booth. By the time the park officially opened (10am), the line was to the entrance gates. Once everybody was in the que and the line stopped moving, I got about 1/2 way in the que and had to wait roughly an hour. I haven't seen this ride operate elsewhere, but it appeared that the crew was moving a tad bit slow in loading it. (If this is my only complaint on opening day, i'll gladly take it).

Were they running two trains? Also, what time did they start letting people into the park, and did they let you walk all the way to the Superman entrance before the chains blocked the rest of the park or did they chain you off right by the entrance to Orleans Place?

Yes, Superman had 2 trains running.

That's very disappointing to hear about V2. I could see Deja Vu not being up until June perhaps, but V2 should have been up for today.

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

One hour wait for superman after getting in the park @ 9:50am and proceeding to immediately cue for superman. Wow!.... I would like to hear from anyone else how the line was during the rest of the day.

I am planning to visit tomorrow, Sunday 5/4. I am 75 mins away from SFGAm so I would have to leave at about 8AM to have a chance at riding with a reasonable wait. If the lines weren't much longer later in the day than I may just plan on taking it easy in the AM and taking my time getting there.... but I don't think that that is likely. I have three children who cannot ride and so I have to do a parent swap and my kids are not going to want to wait for 2 + hours to watch their parents ride one at a time.

I may just consider waiting till later in the season to ride... like a weekday in late May / early June or something. My daughters will be in school and the wait would have to be somewhat shorter. I am planning to visit SFWOA Memorial day weekend. I wonder if X-Flight might not end up being my first Flyer......

It's supposed to be cloudy with a chance of rain tomorrow, so I'm expecting a bit shorter lines. Plus I heard today was bring a friend for 1/2 price day for season pass holders.
De Ja Vu's operating status is crap. I really don't like those VEKOMA Invertigos.

Whats red yellow and blue at SFGAm...???

V2 opened at around 6 despite the Not Open Today sign. I made it on S:UF's first GP train.
Blinkcoaster, what time did you arrive at the park in order to get on the first train?

He said he got on the second train, I got to the park around 8:30-9:00 and got on the first train back row of Superman.

V2 was certainly open today, for at least the end of the day, but that's been talked over...

Raging Bull was closed around midday (probably from like 1:30-3ish at least, as I got there around 1:30), which happened to be really disconcerting, but they got it back up and running, so it really isn't an issue.

And I've figured out DV's problem this year. It doesn't even have a train on its track.

RB probably closed because a 11 year old girl died on it yesterday. It said on the news that she was eating gum or candy and started to choke while on the ride. When she got back to the station she was not moving so they did CPR but could not get her back. It is a very sad event. not something the park wants on opening day!
Same with me Blinkcoaster. Second seat two times and once in the front. V2 opened around 7:00. I was in line for Superman so I didn't get to ride it. There's always May 17th.
i arived at the park at 930 and i rode i n the front of superman toom me an hour and a half the line for it got worse during the day
i rode rb when they finaly reopend it. but waiting for it the police said it wont be open again thatday but they opend it. and for deja vu i asked they took the chain off for the winter and havent put it on yet.
Well, Fancy seeing that DejaVu doesn't USE a chain, I'd say it's not needed.. ;)

Also, I thought I saw in pictures online that showed the cable reels were all set and strung up...
