SFGAm S:UF-Entrance

I don't think the clones have a tunnel but the tunnel at SFOG was so short if you blinked you would miss it. Its no big deal. The pretzel loop though I heard goes below ground level which should be interesting.

The one at Sfgadv's goes beneath ground level I dont' know about Sfgam's. Sfgaman the one at Sfgadv's have these hay things under it so by the time summer comes around the grass is under the ride, so basically you should wish the one have the same landscaping as the one at Sfgadv's. I think the entrance plaza on this one won't be as good as the other two but once in line it can give the same experience with the superhero cutouts. Does this one have the queve under the ride like the one at Sfgadv's if it does than it would be hot.
The pretzel loop at SFGAm does go below ground. The queue house for SUF at SFGAm wont go under the ride but after that the straightaway most likely will leading to the station house.

This is all based on my observation of the pics I have seen.

Well some people care about the specifics of a new rollercoaster going into a park so they ask questions. Also some people have been worried from day one that Superman is going to ruin the Orleans Place themeing. Thats really what the discussion has been about and a good question in my oppinion. This is a rollercoaster site so you should expect any question whether how out of the ordinary you think it may be.

I'm worried that to preserve the Orleans Place theming, our S:UF entrance will be sacrificed. If they wanted to preserve Orleans place, they shouldn't have named it Superman. Since they did, then they should go all out on the superman theming. Just imagine how different Batman would be if you entered through Tidal Wave's entrance.
Well you got a new coaster so thats what really counts. Who knows sometimes when you have limitations to things it leads to the best things, and good creativity.
I don't understand how some SF parks care about their theming and others just plop a ride on an old parking lot. Is it up to each individual park to decide about theming or is it whether SF gives them any money?
Different GM's care about different things. It's really that simple (though, of course, certain GM's have a bit more sway with Corporate than others).

Yes GMs have a lot of say in regards to the new ride. A lot of people blame poor theming and bad placement of rides on Corporate Six Flags when the GM has a big say in what goes into to their parks and how they want it to look. Just as Coasterdude said some GMs have a bit more sway than others according to their park.

This pic shows the entrance (thank you SFGAMworld.com).

Looks to me like the two pillars on the one side might be to hold a large Superman logo sign.... also you can see the logo faintly in the concrete.

hmm, a tad lackluster. But anyhoot, its still better than a greek gorgon in the wild west.

huh?
It's nice to see at least one SF park cares about the atmosphere and theming of their park. They did a pretty good job of blending the entrance in with the rest of the Orleans motif and the superman theming isn't obtrusive. All that seems left to do is paint the logo in the pavement and put up a Superman sign... Bravo SFGAm
SFGAm will have a nice entrace but not as big as the other onece i think

Whats red yellow and blue at SFGAm...???
Yeah I really love how the entrace turned out Its alot better than I thought It was gonna Be. I really like the new paint job on the Shockwave Queue House thing its awesome how it blends in to both themes the NEw Orleans and Superman. I think They Did an awesome Job I cant wait any longer.

i disagree with antuan and blinkcoaster.... looking at that link in the first post, would you really want an entrance that big?? that thing (at sfgadv) is MONSTROUS. i like the looks of the one we're getting. as lilspike said, blends well.

The entrance is great , i mean what are you really missing out on in not having a huge entrance , from the pics, once the landscaping is done completely with grass and all, then everyone will be happy. Even more happy if we get our superman symbol painted into the pavement. The best is yet to come...
