SFGAm Season Pass Processing

CoasterDude316...Same here, but that was because they had you in their system as aready HAVING a valid SF season pass that is from SFGAm...It's the magic of databases...

Oh yeah that could be, I didn't think of that.

I see a potential problem with the parking pass issue, I am pretty sure that the parking pass sicker is just a colored round sticker that says "Parking Pass 03" nothing about what park it is for and the way I was told the attendants at the gate knew it was for SFGAm is because it is on a SFGAm pass...but that is just postulation and such.

Yep, that's pretty much what I stated above, Touchdown...

About this parking pass..... Do you purchase it at the parking booth? Also, do you need a driver's licence?

I just ordered my SFGAm seasons parking pass from over the phone to the tune of $40.00.

Thanks for the input redman. The lady I spoke to on the phone was definitely the lady I spoke to last time I called (she had indicated to me that there would be no problem purchasing and using a seasons parking pass with my SFKK seasons passes). When I asked her if I could purchase the parking pass at the gate I was told that it would be at the discretion of guest relations(story changed?). That's when I made the decision to order it over the phone - the irony of it is that the pass is only $30 if ordered by April 23rd, however there is a $5 processing fee and an additional $5 s/h fee! They wouldn't let me order it any other way unless I had an order form - the cutoff to send out order forms was 4/11. (I checked a box last year not to send me any unsolicited mail - lo and behold I didn't even get a renewal offer!)

So I asked her to make sure I am on the mailing list, so that I get the renewal next year and place my order.

Kev,

You have to pay for parking at the booths, then you can take your parking "ticket" to the pass processing area in Hometown square, where they will sell you the season parking pass less the cost of that day's parking.

No you do not need a drivers license...just your season pass will do...

but again, HardRider, make sure to have the name of the specific GR rep you dealt with.

Because, as I have stated above, the parking sticker says nothing as to which park it is for. Therefore, the person at the parking booths will not know it is a SFGAm parking pass and could make you pay for parking since your pass is from SFKK... making the (incorrect) assumption that it is a SFKK parking pass...

Should I call the SFGAm hotline to order my parking sticker?

Can you tell me where I go when I get my Season Pass processed. And I ordered my pass online on Tuesday, April 14 after noon and I did the 3 day UPS shipping thing. It still hasn't come yet as of April 21 2:36 P.M. I know it could come later but if anyone did do the 3 day UPS shipping thing can you tell me when you got it cause i plan on going tomorrow for processing and I still haven't gotten it yet. tx!!
SFGAMan, I did the 3 day thing on a Sun. and got it on Wed. I'm surprised you haven't gotten yours yet. I'd be very surprised if it didn't come in time for processing tomorrow.
Thanks for that info but I just got mine delivered about 2 minutes ago. I was curious why it wouldnt come on Friday, three days later but who knows. I'm very happy but can any of you tell me where I go when I get it processed. I have an idea but just making sure. tx!!
there is no parking fee for pass processing. just drive up, park, and walk into the park. if you don't have your voucher, it will probably be at guest services. once in the park, signs and employees will guide you to the proper location to get the pass processed.

My dad ordered it yesterday! Now, he says they said to pick it up at the park. Does that mean Public Relations or the Parking booth?

Thanks Bob
I received my SFGAm seasons parking pass in the mail Saturday. Interestingly enough it states quite simply "this pass must be affixed to a SFGAm season's pass to be valid."

If that is truly the case, they really should have refused to sell it to me when I called, as I specified that I was a SFKK seasons pass holder. I was asked if I would be visiting SFGAm often enough to take advantage a parking pass. When I explained that I was a Chicagoland resident who simply visited SFKK earlier in the year and purchased passes there I was offered the parking pass without hesitation.

I am looking forward to lots of fun this season at the parking gate..... oh boy!

Well, Hardrider, don't say I didn't tell you about it well before you placed your order.

I hope you didn't put the sticker on your pass yet.

I'd call back the person you spoke with IMMEDIATELY and ask to speak with her supervisor to try and get this straightened out.

Good idea Redman.... I'll let you know what happens. I will call later in the week when I have the parking pass in hand. I sure they'll tell me where to go - literally!
Red, I didn't think that affected me. I have a SFMM pass! Are they going to really not accept it?
