Ive been wondering about something about the SFGAM passes price wise, u go online and they say its only $72.99 but when i called SFGAM hotline its says $84.99 , Jewel says the same, does this mean that the $72.99 is just a limited time type of thing..

J

i just ordered mine today and it was $72.99 and it did say the price was $72.99 until may 5.
Did anyone else order a sticker to put on their 2002 season pass? I'm ready for opening day! :)

I Should have gotten that sticker thing to put on my 2002 pass but I wanted to go the park and see whats happening. And I wanted the new superman pass cause it looks cool.

For the $72.99 price, I think that's the price for the 4-pack, with each individual pass being the $72.99. If you don't get the 4-pack, then I believe the price is $82.99 or such.
you know, I would have gotten the sticker to renew my old pass, but I had enough troubles with the parking sticker sliding all across my pass that I thought a whole new pass would be in order.

I believe that the pricing is $84.99 + tax for a single pass if purchased at the park or at Jewel / Osco. However if you order online (new pass or renewal) the cost is $72.99 + tax. The online order form states that you must order a minimum of 2 passes though.....

To confuse the issue even more if you purchase a four pack of passes (called a family pack) the cost is $72.99 + tax (or 291.96 + tax) if purchased online, at the park or at a Jewel / Osco store.

Our family was able to visit SFKK earlier this month and I was under the impression that passes were only $46.99 (tax included) each at that park and when we arrived we were greeted by a large sign at the gate.... SEASONS PASSES NOW AVAILABLE.... ONLY $56.99. I found out after I had purchased 4 passes @ $56.99 that they were available at the local Kroger grocery stores for $46.99 each. Also, they were still $46.99 a piece if ordered online.

At least we still saved over the SFGAm pricing and (though you may find it hard to believe) we did enjoy ourselves at SFKK. Perhaps it was because we were in withdrawl for so long!

All I need to do now is get my season parking pass at SFGAm. Planning our first visit Sunday May 4th...... Can't wait to ride Superman as I have never experienced a flyer!

Good luck getting a SFGAm season parking pass with a SFKK season pass. I heard last year they would only sell you a season parking pass to you if your pass was from GAm...

Another thing I found interesting was that the calendar that I recieved with the season pass had a statement on it that the pass expired on November 2,2003 (the last operating day of the season for SFKK). Meaning that if I visit a SF park after that date I would be required to pay the posted admission (or purchase a pass for that park). I think that many people are under the impression that the pass is good until the beginning of the next operating season which is just not the case (I remember reading something to that effect at least a couple of times on these boards).
Redman, I specifically called SFGAm and clarified the issue BEFORE travelling 300 + miles to purchase my SFKK seasons passes. The only downside to purchasing a SFKK seasons pass is that in the event it is lost it must be replaced at the home park (which could potentially be a serious problem). But as far as the parking pass goes I was specifically told no problem, the sticker may be placed on any valid SF pass - the passholder must be in the vehicle to use the benefit, same as last year.

HardRider,

Make sure you have the name of the person you spoke to...because I knew someone who had a SFMW pass last year and they would not under ANY circumstances sell him the season parking pass because the pass sticker DOES NOT have a park name on it...and they are NOT valid at other SF parks (I have gone to multiple parks each of the past three years and have not been allowed to use my parking pass)

How much is the parking pass? Is it just a sticker that goes on your season pass? Also, only one person needs it right?
the pass was $30 during a special offer to previous SFGAm season passholders ...During the season it will be $40.

Yes, it is a small circular sticker that goes on the front of the pass in the top right part of the pass

Only one person per car needs it but the cardholder must be present (you can't bring your sibling's pass and still get free parking)

I ordered my SFGAm season pass online in December, but they didn't sell the parking passes at that time. So when I got the season pass renewel offer in the mail, I mailed it back just to buy a parking pass and it worked without having to show a SFGAm season pass.

What if I get the pass on one of the Pre-processing days but I was not a passholder last year?
