They are getting nothing and you will like it that way!
Seriously, the park really needs to concentrate on getting V2 and Deja Vu to work consistantly before they go off adding new attractions to the park. Corporate makes the decisions as to new ride placement and with all the headaches with V2 and Deja Vu they may put off putting another coaster there in a while. There is no set schedule as to when they receive new rides.

Hey, hey....how about some love and peace on the boards?
On another SFGAm note, I was wondering if you guys noticed that the schedule on the back of my season pass flyer indicates that the park will be open weekends in September. This is good news.
By the way, Kick the Sky, I agree with you that getting V2 and Deja Vu to be dependable should be a high priority.
What I don't understand is why doesn't Vekoma put booster tires on the boomerang so it doesn't stall there? I agree with you too Bob that they need to get those 2 rides running up to par before they even think about putting anything else in. Also, if noone has anything good to say, how about just not saying anything else at all? I mean don't shoot someone down here. It really does'nt make you look good. It makes you look really that much more like you don't know anything accept how to try to make someone else look like a fool, which BTW is not cool.

I also heard the same rumor, but the park opens in about a month so I doubt there is enough time to install an entire attraction when there is no sign of parts or things like that. Maybe next year.
I also agree that they need to get V2 and Deja Vu working good at the same time. I don't think both of the rides were ever opened at the same time yet. So I think they should get that settled, then they should start to plan for the new B&M Flyer..... ;)

If that argument about the 'DV and V2 headaches' is any valid, why in the world would SFoG be getting a new coaster? Last time I checked, they still have a DV, and it's exactly like SFGAm's, and it doesn't always sound like Achrophobia or whatchyamacallit works perfectly, either.
SFGAm's new attraction this year is accually the bridge between Hometown Square and County Fair. They are opening that back up because you (and me, and everyone else) hated the wall! Be happy you get the bridge back! I know I am!

Milwaukee Wisconsin, we bring you beer, brats and cheese. But don't be fooled, "Milwaukee truly is a special secret getaway that I will be sure to tell my friends about!" Erin Brockevich, not to mention that we are an hour from SFGAm........

Well if you look at the trend, they get a new coaster, or thrill ride every other year. 1995- Viper, 1997- Giant Drop, 1999- Raging Bull, 2001- V2, and Deja Vu, so they will PROBABLY get something big in 2003. The trend doesn't go back too far, but it is pretty reliable.
The reason SFOG got Superman was because it is the park's 35's season, so they wanted to do something big, parks usually look into building coasters years ahead, they do not wake up in July of 2001, and say I want a coaster for April 2002, so they didn't know that a ride will flop, they just wanted to do something memorable .

Also, if you read Six Flags 2001 Annual Report, you would find out that Six Flags over Texas and Six Flags over Georiga will be getting more than any other Six Flags park for a long long time(try 25 year!)
