SFGAm Questions

I never knew where to enter Batman's queue besides underneath the Gotham City Park sign. it was never crowded enough for the line to back up to the snack shop. on one of my visits there last summer, the line was finally backed up enough that I was forced to see the entrance when my friends forceably took my head and pointed at the queue next to the shop. I *still* didn't see it until we got in line. I felt like such an*****that day. me, the coaster buff in the group, and I don't know where Batman's entrance was!

I think it would be easier to find if the shop was next to Whirigig. that allows you to see the Gotham City Park sign and the queue lines outside of it and where to enter those lines. when the line is short, walk right up to GCP. when the line is long, put temporary baracades directing people to the longer line.

1. Eagle.

2. I can't think of a bad Arrow first drop.

4. I think coasters in general have gotten a lot less conservative with the color schemes, and I think its great. It seems like back at the birth of steel coaster there were about 5 color schemes you had to stick with, but now, its anything goes. Just look at that thing they are building at Knotts.

If the shoe fits, find another one.

The new entrance for the overflow of Batman is now where the Cajun Cliffhanger used to be. Batman will get Fastlane this year, and the line will go through the junkyard and meet the main line at the sewer tunnel.

1. Which ride entrance do you like the best? I personally like american eagle's entrance.

Demon's at one time was the best, but now I have to give it to Batman.

2. Is it just me, or does Demon's drop seem a lot better than it looks? At first, I said "Demon's drop doesn't look like much," but when I went on it, I had this really cool feeling in my stomach.

I have always loved Demon's first drop. I think it is the best among the Arrow loopers out there.

3. I heard that Richochet was in the park before Southwest territory was made, where was it? Did it have a different name?

Big Top as everyone else said. I used to love the location of this ride on the big platform by Eagle. Nice view from up there that added to the ride. Have to give kudos to Six Flags for theming the ride though :)

4. Before Raging Bull, didn't Great America's coasters seem kind of plain in color. I mean, they had 2 Black coasters, 2 white coasters, a dark red coaster, a brown coaster, and a dark green coaster. Ever since Raging Bull, they have come up with colrful coasters which makes the park look better. Does anyone agree?

I like the added color. I especially love the green of Deja Vu. I think every park should have a bright neon green coaster and I would love to see a blaze orange coaster some day(MA corkscrew possibly?) The thing that irks me the most about Great America besides the crowds is the fact that their coasters all look like they need a serious paint job. Demon, Iron Wolf, & Batman look like serious rust buckets and need paint badly.
