SFGAM new rides? Any?

I'm wonder what's next for Great America. Is there anything new for next year?

A new dippin' dots stand, complete with Magic 8 ball.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

as in rides, attractions, no food stalls...

MMMMMM,dippin'dots

It's our off year, bro... we just got Superman in '03, don't expect much of anything until '05.
Why is this person becoming more and more of a troll?
Nah, usually a troll will post on every single thread he sees. Also, trolls seem to have behavior as follows: multiple names, names with the words "cedar" and "point" (Spelled multiple ways, such as "seeder.")Hmm... Where's coasterjosh? ;)

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
A wise man once said, "Those who know don't talk and those who talk don't know..."
And that "wise man" is coasterbuzz's very own Jeff Putz.
Wasn't SFGam scheduled to get part of Orient Express? I can't remember if it was Orient or Express.. :-P

No, no! Get it right!! SFGAm is going to be getting the Express part of OE and the Shock part of SW. I don't see why this is so difficult....

:)

“Non sibi sed patriae” "Not self but country"
lol. so it'll be Shock Express?

[jon revelle]
Well... OK.. let me see if I have it streight...

Shock Express is goig to SFGam... Orient Wave is giong to SFAW (so they'll stop complaining about not getting a new ride) and um... let's see, that leaves PKI and Busch Gardens Williamsburg to fight over who gets the two hockey bags and a Zamboni?

No. They're taking S:UF down and putting shockwave back up.

I have it on good authority that SFGAm is getting nothing new for next year and that is pretty consistant across the chain...

Not happy with the new flyer, the new GIB, and the new Impulse as of late?

Certain victory.

Kick The Sky, I am happy with the rides, it's the five our lines that irk me. I've never seen the park as crowded as it was last year. Granted, I have only been going there since about 1996, but last year was just packed.

As far as I am concerned SFGAm has plenty of "thrill rides". What we need (but wont get in 2004 most likely) IMO are a Ferris Wheel (if they can find the room and the budget to fix it...put back the Skywhirl), a dark ride (for the life of me I dont understand why we dont have one already), and another kiddie coaster. Like I said though we wont likely see any of these anytime soon.

I sure hope so. S:UF is real cool, but I wish they'd build it somewhere else.

I'd like to think you're authority isn't so "good." ;)

Joe "it'll be a quiet year but that doesn't mean SF parks aren't getting *anything!*" C.

PS Cobra Roller...last year was busy to you? Did you only go in Aug or something? From what I know, the park was *hurting* attendance wise throughout May, June, and July. The longest line during that time (excluding the new ride, SUF obviously) was no more than an hour on a Sat and even shorter than that weekdays.

I always love it when people overexaggerate wait times. Get some patience, man!

OMG I have a new sig!!!
I don't know why, but B:TR has gotten more and more crowded. They had to build an extension to the quene. I bet you by the next coaster, the park will be soo jammed, you'll see people parking on the street. THEY NEED MORE LAND!!!

[jon revelle]
What are you talking about??

Cobra: I never saw lines over an hour all year. It depends on when you go.
