SFGAM Deja Vu Goes Bezerk!!

I would imagine that this area of concern is being worked out already. In fact, they may already have a solution in place. But for now, they must continue to operate it as-is. Improvements will be made after the summer season comes to an end. The GIBs are AWESOME rides! A minor problem with energy generation is no reason to scrap the ride.

LoadedG is right, they probably have a plan to fix it, for good. It's not really energy generation thats the problem, we all know it gets enough of that, the problem is the lift all together. Maybe they should just tear it out and make a new kind of reliable lift. It's always freezing, releasing early, or something which isn't good. Hopefully it's something as simple as computer glitches, in which case they can just work those out without any physical work on the ride. I hope the GIBs stay around at least as long as the original Boomerang. IMO, it gives a better ride than Viper, AE, RB, IW, and B:TR (yes, I think it's that good, even with all of it's problems. The only thing it isn't better than is Cyclops.)

When did American Eagle get more airtime than Viper?

A short LIM system might be the way to go. Speed in Las Vegas has a mid-course booster that helps it reach higher up its' spike. However, it also slows the trainon its return. But, if they could propel it up the second spike, rather than using a catch-n-lift system, it should work flawlessly (assuming of course that the booster doesnt fail).
