Wahhh!!! I have one of the best waterparks in the chain and 4 B&Ms at my park and I'm still not satisfied. Wahhh!!!

Are you kidding me? Also Bill has been around here a lot longer than you have, as have I, don't come in here throwing your "weight" around when you have none to throw. >:(

^LOL, if I can come in here and joke around as much as I do, I'd better to be able to take a little criticism....and I can. ;)

It really IS "all in good fun"...and it's NEVER personal. :)

I'm not against SFGAm getting that roller coaster. I'm fine with the rides the park has. Just because they are B&M doesn't mean they are great. I don't like Raging Bull, and Iron Wolf is just getting terrible. Before, it was head-banging to soft pillows, and now they are hard. I try to avoid the head-banging, and it still hurts my ears. I'm just telling the truth.

Is it one of the best waterparks in the chain? I don't know. I haven't been to enough of them to tell you if it is. It's one of my top waterparks though. The best waterpark in my opinion though is Noah's Ark. Yes, it's not Six Flags.

My jab at rollergator was of course all in fun and directed towards his endorsement of Stephen Colbert, a man I find just a bit smug.

Gator's posts are always fun to read and interesting and the board would be a lesser place without them.

I'd just like to see this park become what it used to be once again. As in back in the day when Marriott ran it. *** Edited 12/24/2007 3:53:43 AM UTC by WildStangAlex***

^I'll have to admit, as much as I EXTREMELY DISLIKE (trying not to use the H word) many of the things they have done to my home park (further drawing a line between haves and have nots - the fast pass thing, they should play the "have nots" by X; the extreme drink and food prices, the crazy amount of corporate sponsorship signs) I still usually have a good time at the park. Thanks mainly to my staples like the Whizzer, Viper, all the flat rides, sometimes Demon and Eagle. Hmmmmm ... just like 1981 almost!

I don't eat or drink there much of course. Just step foot in Great Adventure, Magic Mountain or even SFOG (even with one of the top prize rides in the chain, Mindbender), and you will see what Great America has over most parks. *** Edited 12/24/2007 12:11:01 AM UTC by J7G3***

Hehe, just a BIT? Stephen is certainly the biggest self-promoter on television today....but I have to believe it's (ALMOST) all part of the *act*. His character is simply a very well-directed jab at Bill O'Really. ;)

Back to SFGAm, it may have fallen off a bit in terms of operations (my impression based on repeated visits over the last 6-7 years), but it's still clearly one of the best parks in the chain (ride line-up plus ops).

Family aspect of the Six Flags parks! "Mommy, why are they gettin on now!?" ... "Because, honey, they have more money than we do." Still makes me very sick just to think they would even offer such a thing.

Now if it was like 5x as expensive, and the money went to a good cause, then we might be able to talk about it.

Sorry, I just noticed this post now. I know you think the Flashpass sucks but it's something that was implemented even before Shapiro got on board. Also, most of the rides that accept Flashpass are the high thrill rides with the exception of a few so you really can't put the family aspect into this.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
