SF Elitch Gardens 2002

This might be incredible dumb, but when I was there this year, I thought that I saw  footers behind Twister II.

My Top steel: Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, Raging Bull, Desperado, Speed the Ride. Wood: Viper, American Eagle, Twister II, Zeus, Cyclops.
I am not sure, I only got a short glance while I was driving by, but I think I saw track behind Twister II.  It was red, and I didn't get a clear look at it, but it was a short stack of something with long peices.  The other thing I can think of was that it was just a cherry picker/crane, but I hope to god its what I think I saw.

I hope both Coasteraddict and Mustang are right!
Anybody else seen anything going on?
Now that I think of it, I don't think what ever they will be adding will be going in that space between the water park and the bridge.  I agree with Bigkirby, when they built the water park, they new they were getting press for space, I think they would have bought that space then if it was available, and place the water park there, so there could then be something where the water park is now.  Plus, I don't know if they would put in an attraction behind the water park, it would bring too many people walking through the water park to get to that attraction.   If what Mustang saw is true, hopefully and quite possibly, it might be a coaster that pretty much goes around the permiter of the park?
Does SFEG really need a waterpark?

I don't think so, I think they should have added something else before the water park, there is a great water park called "Waterworld" bout half and hour and way, and it is intirly devoted to being a water park, it's not half and half, and it is a much bigger water park with more rides. But many people like to go and be able to ride both non water rides and water rides, I do, but I don't think they need it, but it's not like they can just take it out, it is there and it does bring in profit.
The water park is extremely popular, I don't see them removing it any time soon. Plus it's great marketing, "Buy admission to SFEG and get into Island Kingdom FREE!"

Yeah, it is good marketing, getting "two parks for the price of one" even though the water park isn't huge.  And I hope that they don't remove it any time soon, I wish they would move it back and put something between it, but that would cost way to much money.  But about the new ride, I think I saw the same thing that Mustang did, I only got a couple of seconds to look, but there were a couple of stack of something red, and they were partially coverd, it looked like long pieces of track, but I can't garantee that is what I saw.
good.  Someone saw the same thing as I did so that means Im not hallucinating.  Now that that's esablished, I hope to god that it is track!   A hyper around the perimeter of the park would be great.

A hyper anywhere in the park would be great, but than again, any sort of new ride in the park would be great.  I hope it is track though too, it sure would make me a lot happier! Does anyone know when they are supposed to announce it.
My guess for the announcement would be early next year, although they may start building it before then (if it is what I hope it is)
