I think its just healthy skepticism. Maybe all of the new changes will work, maybe none of the new changes will work, maybe somewhere in between (probably).
But for the few things that *do* work, they need to be
a) properly implemented
b) more than likely tweaked to perfectly fit whichever park
c) stuck with, but also
d) revisited and revised from time to time.
But look, everyone knows which SF parks are run pretty well (SFGAm anyone?) and which ones need help. Just setting some reasonable goals and looking at what the more succesful parks are doing is going to be a good start.
