Confirming our earlier report, Cedar Fair has filed a Form 8-K confirming the resignation of chief operating officer Jack Falfas on June 12.

Read the filing on the Securities and Exchange Commission Web site.

I wonder if that's enough proof for websites who otherwise aren't afraid of wild rumors. :)

It'll probably take a couple days to find out. :)

Nice, didn't even give him the decency of two weeks severance. Then again, since he had a hand in screwing me out of my bonus when I left, I don't really feel sorry for him.

It says his compensation and benefits ended on the 12th. That doesn't mean he wasn't paid some sort of lump amount at that time.

Even though I wasn't privy to said inside joke, I've noticed his comments too, and thought your first post was funny pointing out his Irony. :)

Why has cedar point not announced it yet?

It seems they like to keep secrets for some reason.

Don't know if this is worth starting a new thread over, since we already have two going, but as of this evening the Plain Dealer is also reporting on it:
