SEC filing confirms departure of Jack Falfas from Cedar Fair

Confirming our earlier report, Cedar Fair has filed a Form 8-K confirming the resignation of chief operating officer Jack Falfas on June 12.

Read the filing on the Securities and Exchange Commission Web site.

UPDATE: The Plain Dealer adds minor information to the story Thursday night (June 17).

I wonder if that's enough proof for websites who otherwise aren't afraid of wild rumors. :)

It'll probably take a couple days to find out. :)

Nice, didn't even give him the decency of two weeks severance. Then again, since he had a hand in screwing me out of my bonus when I left, I don't really feel sorry for him.

It says his compensation and benefits ended on the 12th. That doesn't mean he wasn't paid some sort of lump amount at that time.

Walt, it was already posted to his twitter feed; that's where I saw it. :)

It seems they like to keep secrets for some reason.

Why would Cedar Point announce it? Jack worked for Cedar Fair.
