SeaWorld Florida Manta concept art

Yeah, I saw this, certainly interesting stuff. This is going to be a seriously marketable, seriously unique attraction for Orlando. Exciting times in Florida lately.

That looks like way too much fun. I wonder how fast it will go? I would suspect a slower flyer so you can appreciate the animal effects and have it appeal to the whole family.
Looks like it'll be more like AIR than any of the other Flyers. Mostly low-to-the-ground maneuvers.
Very cool. I woner when they'll build a flyer at CP?

I drive in & out of Boston, so I ride coasters to relax!

That is sweet. If the one pic actually has people skim the water on this ride, I am Orlando bound.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

^Not as far of a trip as it used to be, huh? ;)

Does look like even Tatsu has been kicked up a notch or two...and I can even say that I'm probably going to be OK now with it being a B&M... :)

Total hunch/speculation here but I'd guess the more years that pass by the less likely it will become.

We had already planned our 2/2010 Florida trip to be "non-Disney" to visit Harry Potterland. I'm getting more and more geeked about a UO/IOA/SWO/Aquatica trip every time another attraction is announced.

Interesting times in Orlando, indeed.

Wow! Perfect kind of ride for the park. Awesome!

This will definitely greater our chances of getting down there in the near future, (near future meaning late-09). Other than finances, I wanna wait until Universal gets all of their new attractions up and running too.

I wonder if you'll actually skim the waters surface, or if it'll be more like the Italian Job's water effect?

Now officially a Halloween Haunt Cornstalker for Fall '08! www.freewebs.com/chadmicah
There is a rumor that this coaster will use the same spray effect as the dive machines with the fins on the cars and I believe this concept art strongly backs that rumor up. It may be slightly different than the dive machines and only have fins on one side of the car. I am excited.

ARG - I the link isn't working for me?

Here an *abridged* version of what DIBB took down (I'm guessing they were asked to take it down, LOL).

Very cool.

"the only thing I know is that life is short and the only time you've got left is luck"
It all looks so fake to me.
Fake as in, not really Sea World's concept art?

If so, someone went to a lot of trouble.

Does anybody know if there will be any inversions??

I assume it would at least have the "not quite zero-g" roll that can be found at the end of the Supermen (and all B&M flyers to date I think).

Great addition. This is a park I could spend an entire day at, and thats despite me thinking Kraken is among the weaker B&M creations I've been on. Can't wait to visit again.
