Search doe not work!! :(

I was looking for a topic which is a few months old using the keyword "Voyage" and get no results! :( What is up with that? Voyage is one of the most talked about subject on the forums and yes I was searching the general buzz forum!

I think Jeff said the search funtion will return when the site layout is updated, since thats probably not too far off its not too long to wait and would be pointless to do if this layout is going to be replaced soon anyway. I think theres a way to search using Google, if you type in www.coasterbuzz.com after what youre searching for or something like that.

You are correct P18. Jeff knows the site search function isn't working, but he's got great things planned for the next "version" of Coasterbuzz.

In the meantime, Google site search works great.

Just type site:www.coasterbuzz.com search keyword into your google search, and you should find what you're looking for.

Well that is good to know but I think I will wait until he gets the new site working. I wonder why it stopped working anyway. Was that by accident?

The search has been down for a while. It seems it made more sense to work on getting the new site together as opposed to work on fixing the search in old code.

In the meantime, use google. Put in the term you're looking for (in the case, "Voyage") followed by "site:www.coasterbuzz.com" and it will limit the results to this site. Works great and applies to any site.

I think this is old news unless you havent been on the site in a while. I think there was something about this earlier but I dont remember.
