Sea World Surf Coaster

So, now that it is opened, can anyone provide a bit of a comparison of Pipeline: The Surf Coaster versus the former standup rollercoasters from B&M (i.e. Mantis, Chang, Skyrider, etc.)? It looks to me like a tamer launched standup coaster, but, not having been on it I'm curious. Is this the start potentially of a new fad in coaster design again?

Here's my review from passholder preview weekend

It doesn't compare at all to the 90s standup coasters. It's comfortable, smooth, rerideable and not even in the same league as the old school stand up rides.

Yes, it's tamer. But it is the level of intensity that is appropriate for a standup ride. I don't know if it will catch on and other parks will start installing them. But it's definitely a unique ride and provides plenty of excitement without feeling the need to pull enough Gs to change the flow of blood to my calves.
