SDC Polling Guests for NEW ride

Vertigo,

the Ice House descriptive paragraph says there would be sections where you encounter spinning. Not sure how accurate the artist's rendering of how the tracks and cars would look is.

Have not submitted the survey yet, but, going to pick "none of the above" for the which ride or attraction could be replaced question when I do.

I honestly put Huck Finn's tree house. That place has really gone down hill and most of the time there is no one there.

After looking at these drawings during my trip, I think the Ice House attraction looks the best. They have other pictures that show alot of really cool details that make it a wonderful attraction. It was similar to a mad mouse but totally custom built.

The mine train ride is a locosumo type ride with 2 mine cars per train. Yes, it would be where the flooded mine is today using the same building and adding a couple of stories to it.

The shot drop tower is pretty much 2 of the new zamperla space shot like attractions but mostly built underground with some good theming. Nothing like the TOTs, but somewhat similar.

The childrens play thing would take the place of the Wilderness Waterboggan if built. That attraction's capacity is terrible and most families avoid it due to the long climb upward.

In the future, most of the adult oriented thrill rides will be placed at Celebration City with the more family oriented attractions placed at SDC.

Ice House would be located in a new building or would the Fire in the Hole building be used? Still say a Roller Soaker/Flying Super Saturator type coaster would be great at SDC for families.

I agree, but they have so much emphasis on water attractions that it makes sense to do something else. But, who says the Ice House Attraction doesnt involve water?? ;)

Funny Chris I would have "assumed" it would involve a certain tasty adult beverage, but that's just me I gues....

If you're not watching "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", you're just watching the news....

I know this isn't much of a comment, but I wouldn't mind seeing any of those! They all look fun! :)

TOGO!
Well it has been rumored that they want to consolidate the children's rides into one area so it very could happen that Sawyer Landing will be moved over to the Geyser Gulch area and then the new attraction(s) could go in that area. it would make sense. Also it is no secret that they are thinking very seriously about removing Wildnerness Waterboggan. Want proof? Those little marks on each joint weren't put there just for show.

I hope they don't remove that one. Its one of only 2 in the country, (the other one is at Dollywood) and is quite scary.

Regardless of if it's one of only two, if it is not getting the job done, it will be removed. That is the harsh reality of the amusement business. Besides nothing is official yet that they will. I personally like the ride and think that if a ride is still functioning properly, one should keep it.

Just a thought on my part, if they do happen to remove it, I would wager that it would end up at Stone Mountain Park.

He didn't say when. They should put the ride where you don't have to climb up a 40 foot tower. I like how Dollywood has theirs you just have to walk up a slope and hardly any stairs.

The thing I'm wishing for besides some good water/coaster rides is a permanent Bird of Prey show (I like raptors so does alot of people here). I also think a bathroom and drinking foutains by WildFire is really needed. Currently you would have to walk all the way down the hill to get to them and by the time you walk back up you'll be thristy and there's no pop machine (it was removed for some reason) or drinking fountains up there.

PS: WildFire and your favorite ride will be removed for the same reason Swoosh said in the quote.
