Chitown, I would agree that the Magnum's trains are not the greatest out there. However, at least Arrow made an effort to put some style into them (ie the side and front markings). My comment about the SD isn't about how it rides as I'am sure it is a great ride. I just can't believe how boring and flat out ugly the trains are for what is suppose to be Morgan's new masterpiece. They are so big and bulky it looks like Morgan was planning on sitting three accross and enclosing the trains with windows and a roof! Magnum's trains are kind of big but they don't swallow a person up like SD's appear to. Intamin's trains are the ultimate coaster trains for a steel coaster at the moment IMO. B&M's hyper trains would also be as good if they only sat two accross IMO.
Are there any hypercoaster trains that actually look great? I haven't seen any yet and I have ridden most of them. Some look better than others(with Apollo's Chariot and Goliath topping my list), but overall hyper-cars don't do it for me.
SimCoaster...yes, Intamin hyper/giga trains are unbelievable. I think they look fantastic, and the ride and open feeling they give is unmatched.
Jman
I think the trains look smaller because of the people inside, the ride is in JAPAN!

Riddler's Revenge: The most underrated ride in the world!
Yeah the trains are ugly, I must say. Also most people are right, it does look like a regular Hyper Coaster. To me, to get a feel of this ride all I have to do is go on one of Morgans hyper coasters to get an effect of this ride.
One thing is wierd though, The speed they predicted was the official speed the book of records recorded
yea with the morgan pics, whats with those trains, the ride looks amazing but screw the trains . get some intamin ones in there and youd be flyin. All the morgan trains will do is give you a face massage.
Jeff, in response to what you said to me earlier up there, what do you think is more expensive, more welds, or an extra 2 180 foot support structures. What I'm trying to say is that IN THE LONG RUN, Intamin is the better deal.
See, I don't think that's the case. Having touched the Force's track all over like a virgin with a hooker, I can tell you that the track is a real precision piece of work with hundreds of welds and pieces, and that requires a lot of labor. Its paint process requires more steps with primer and the outer layer. I can also tell you that it's manufactured in Intamin's plant and shipped to the site. Compare that to the support structure which is made by an in-state fabricator and allows for a far greater degree of error in placing and aligning the pieces to the footers.
That's more labor and materials to produce each piece, two phases of painting and shipping across an ocean. That's a whole lot of expense.

Jeff, how many times have I told you not to get horny with MF!!!!!! Anyways, good homework (or funwork), I believe you, that's why Intamin has the better product.
Once I saw those trains, I thought of Stan on South Park barfing whenever Wendy would speak to him.
Those trains are as ugly as the Texas Cyclone's coffin cars

Didn't Morgan design the Texas Cyclone cars? That would make sense considering how ugly they are. Morgan must have a patent on ugly trains.
I've riddn on the wild thing and found Morgan's trains (at least on that ride) are extremely comfortable. To stand up for Morgan you have to realize that Japan has a different aethestic taste then we do you in the US. They go for different looking designs.
