You're dreaming. Look at the research data. You're not even close.

I have a pretty tight system. I just finished upgrading it fully with the installation of my new video card. Nvidia GEFORCE FX 5700LE 256RAM. It is a great card and runs Doom 3 very well. Yet I played this game and it is absolute crap. It can't be my computer because I have 2.0GHz and 512 RAM. It's insane that with all of that and overclocking I cannot run that game.

Everyone on the RCT3 forum have their system specs in their signature. A game should need so many people complaining about it. I know that it isn't smart to do certain things, but releasing a game that has that much crap coming with it? Why?

Deadlines? Money? Pick one...
I really want a Mac version.

Atually now that I think of it, theres alot of low-end systems out there still operating...but the gamers usually keep to the extreme bare minimum to decent. Althought the requirements for RCT3 are just way to high...and you can't build a full park without your computer being gobbled up. oh wel...and they want to add kids peeing in the water at 10 FPS , just shows you where their priorities are!

I think we've been over it now that several of us have high-end equipment and still get crappy performance.

Yes, we have, it shouldn't get crappy performance, all my other games don't have that, I run every game decently or better. I don't know, I'm still considering whehter its worthy buying.
I'll buy it my computer works fine most of the time with it with very little choppiness. IT gets really bad and I mean totally locks up when I put a water ride in there. And also when building paths. Also, are there any rides that you can"unlock" in RCT3 *** Edited 3/16/2005 10:12:48 PM UTC by cofan101***
The only problem I have as to why it runs like crap, is probally due to my graphics card ATI 64MB Radeon 7000 VE (yea kinda old) other than that, I should be fine. I'll get another upgrade before buying soaked I think.
