Scooby Doo attacked at Universal Studios Florida

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

An off-duty corrections officer for the Department of Juvenile Justice has been charged with attacking a costumed Scooby Doo character for no apparent reason at Universal Studios Florida last Friday.

I have to admit...I was SHOCKED to learn this guy was a 'corrections officer'.

Jinkies....I only thought the crooked real-estate developer was the one that caused all the trouble, or that mean, old Mr. Miller.

LMAO! The story is funny, but disturbing as a lot of these things happen. I would love to beat the crap out of a Teletubby or Barney myself. ;-)

sing along with Barney ... "I love you, you hate me, time to get the poo beat out of me"

Ok that was bad....

The Scooby in the incident did have 1 person walking with them. 1????? I would think there should be at least 2 one on each side to help guide since you have no vision in those suits.

As I always end up saying in situtaions like this... What a wonderful world we live in.

As for how to punish this guy. Lock him up in the jail wing he patrols. Can you see the people when they ask him, "what are you in for?"*** This post was edited by dragonoffrost 9/22/2005 9:42:50 AM ***

This has to be my biggest fear about being a Photo Op character at Busch Gardens. Busch constantly talks about security, but, there isn't any near me. The closest cast member to me is the Photographer, which probably can't do much. I had some people touch my mask and they've told the kids not to, but thats about it.

I wish there was a Scrappy Doo character, I LOVE Scrappy! How could one dislike "PUPPPPPYYYY POWER!" Okay, maybe one could, but not I!

I'd leave Scooby alone. Scoob rocks! As for Scrappy...I'd probably choke him myself. He always annoyed me, even as a kid.

Corrections Officer? That alone seems funny to me. Anyway, I've tried, and I can't resist the temptation to say, "He's really in the dog house now!" (Booooooooo!)
