I think Southwest Detroit would be worse than downtown Detroit.
I personally think that the top of MF would be awesome, but stuck upside down, I'd rather not even think about it.

I've been stuck at the top of Tower of Terror. It was no big deal...all of the effects went off and the work lights went on. After 15 minutes up there, we slowly descended the entire shaft, got out, and were able to reride.
I think on the Westside of Detroit would be the worst. The inner city isn't too bad, just the surrounding neighborhoods. Anyway, back on topic, I'd love to get stuck on the top of Power tower at Cedar Point. You could take some great pictures.

With my luck, you'd be taking pictures, and then the second you snapped one, you would have dropped!;)

On any coaster that has high hills and inversions.
I would definately Say on the top of the Power tower out here at Knotts. Its 300 ft tall and it would take a good hour t get a Nice sized crane their and with Los angeles Traffic 3hrs

Getting stuck at the top of a hill wouldn't really scare me. In the Mantis loop I'd be scared. Only because of the fact that the harness came loose on me once when we were near the top of the lift.

It would be really bad to be stuck on any drop towe, you better hope it has emergency brakes if it goes down hehehe....
But it would really not be too exciting(someone said earlier) if you got stuck on the vertical spike on S:UE while at the top. THat would be horrible cause you just look down and you are pressed against the harness. :) That would be not too fun.

The top of Riddler's Revenge's Loop! Right over the chainlift, standing up, 120' high, and by the time a crane gets through the LA freeway and gets to the back of the park, you'ld be dead because of excessive blood flow into your head! Scary!!!

Just wait 'till X and Deja Vu...at the Mountain!SFMM-5(X, Deja Vu, Goliath, S:TE, RR)...CP-2(MF, Raptor, MXL2000)!!!:)
by the way- chris senn, I like your style "magic mountain and CP rule"! but, superman has mo brakes on the top of the tower. the car hangs there because of speed, not brakes! the only brakes are when the LIM's (or LSM's, I can never remember which!) fire in reverse to slow the cars down at the end of the ride!

Actually SFMMan there are brakes on Superman, take a look
http://www.joyrides.com/sfmm/full/superman2.htm that has to be the worst place to get stuck. The brakes are there in case of a emergency but what if the lims overshot and you were stuck up there. I would not be a happy camper.

Getting stuck upside down on anything would suck bad. And getting stuck at the top of a tower would be really bad unless I got used to it after a while. Surely just when I started enjoying it we'd drop. Coasters are a little better because I know I'm restrained and if anything happens I'm probably gonna die anyway. :) But there's something about towers, being out in the open and having nothing but a little seat to hold you.
BTW, speaking of scary stuff, my most frightening "ride" ever was the Eiffel Tower at PKI! Really...I could at least handle the coasters, but I was petrified on that thing -- I had to go up a second time before I'd step to the edge.

Worst Coaster: Project Stealth"
Yes, but they have a rescue vehicle that will bring you down in walled comfort...no need to walk. I think that would be a lot less scary than walking down!
Jman
I didn't think there were brakes up there (?). Those drop towers are magnetic, though. The guy on TV says that they are not electronic magnets in any way so the things always stop.
Bieng stuk at the top of mr. Freeze top hat .the shockwave loop because theres no retraints
the loop on son of beast at pki.
