Roughness On Raging Bull

Last year was the first season I noticed the vibration in the valleys. It does detract from the ride a bit, in my opinion.

Also, the third hill trim seems more noticeable nowadays. I would love just ONE ride on this baby trimless. Heck, even off with the midcourses!!

My best rides on Bull have still been the best coaster rides of my life. Unfortunately, the coaster has the potential to be boring when it is sluggish.

Oh, and 2Hostyl, bring on the TR!!! That section is a little slow right now.

I just went today and rode the blue train, back row. I know what you mean about the vibrations, nut it is completely different from roughness and doesn't detract from the ride at all. What does detract from the ride is all those brakes...After today, Deja Vu is my favorite coaster in the park.

Actually, vibrations are a better way to describe what we felt. We had never noticed the vibrations before this year. And it doesn't really detract from the ride except if you pay too much attention to it.

Soggy: That was something we thought might be a cause also.

Umm SFGA2001 Bull doesn't have a blue train, it has yellow, red and green.

Trims are overrated.

Roughness on a lot of coasters is due simply to the design and nothing can be done about it. When rides become rough with age, it is simply lack of proper maintenance. MF was a little rough in the turns when I was there last month, but I've heard it is now corrected. The wheels, wheel springs, or something related to the wheel assembly probably needed to be replaced and it was not at the time of your visit. Next time if it happens, try a different train, or even a different row in the same train. I hope you still had a good time!

Bull doesn't have a "green" train either. It's teal (a combination of blue and green). ;-)

I rode the Bull on June 20th 5 times and thought it was very smooth and had plenty of air, I loved it!

It was fine yesterday....
I have had no problems with RB at all. No roughness, just great rides!!

I suspect a "routine maintainence" issue, such as a wheel. Once last year, I experienced some roughness on a specific train (forget which one), and I notified the operator, and guest relations that there was some roughness. Later in the day, I rode the same train again, and it was smooth. So perhaps a worn wheel needed to be fixed ?

Would they have replaced a wheel in the same day? I guess I could see them removing the train and putting it back on.
Thats just the coaster Raging. There was always a slight vibration on the coaster but thats with every coaster.
