Rollback on Maverick...

Maverick does indeed have a sign warning rollbacks are possible in the queue. The water bombs are not like water balloons; without giving too much away, let's just say you've probably encountered them on other rides where getting wet is expected.

Fun ride. Loved the acceleration up the lift hill. Can't imagine how that heartline at ground level would have felt with the speed of the train in that section. The Point has certainly served up another winner.

The airtime is far far beyond anything I have ever experienced. Reminds me of SFA/SFDL's S:RoS third hill but about 100 times more powerful. The airtime is borderline uncomfortable.

Uuggh. Remember Steel Phantom? I really didn't like taking out my earrings every time I wanted to ride it.

One of the earrings I have in now can not be easily removed. It takes me a very long time to find the threads to screw back in the ball when I need to put it back in also. I know that it wouldn't be a problem on any coaster...

So do they enforce this rule? Would the ride ops ask me to lift my hair over my ears to see if my earrings were removed?

I've seen people ride with them. But, just be warned, that you may lose them. It happened to one of the reporters on Media Day.
