First I will start out by saying that Mavrick is a ride like no other. WOW! AIRTIME IN THE BACK SEAT LIKE NO OTHER!!! So, the 4th time riding it we stopped for about 30 seconds in the tunnel. This did not happen the first 3 times that i rode it. Then we went to launch and i could tell that something was not right....we didnt clear the hill and had a rollback. I always hoped for a roll back on dragster but not on mavrick... The second time that i got launched there was no problems....after our train it was shut down for a little bit. Also, I hate that they do not open the ride until 3, there excuse was that there was a transformer that blew that a.m. but we heard that same excuse 2 days in a row...one worker told me that they never open it until around 3 because of "stress" on the coaster. So, if you go there and they say it is closed...go back to the coaster around 2 and you will be able to walk on the ride...we rode mavrick 4 times within and hour and a half....anyone else get a roll back? *** Edited 6/1/2007 3:31:40 AM UTC by savealife08***

Ummmm how about no. We were there 9:30am on Tuesday thanks to early entry for resort guests. We got in line, and it opened at shortly after 10am. The same thing happened on Wednesday.
i heard that it was open earlier in the day on wednesday but when we went there around 1ish and it wasnt running but still had people in line (i do not know how long it was down for) then that massive thunderstorm and then we got to ride...
what time did you ride on wednesday?

How about yes. Dragster, Maverick and Wicked Twister, all on that newer line, were down. There was a small army of trucks from Ohio Edison on site to deal with it.
This reminds me of Kings Dominion. They had issues with power for running both Volcano and FoF back when Volcano was new. They had to cut Volcano's trains in half for the first season.
Not be be pessimistic Patrick here but I doubt the airtime can compare to the back seat on El Toro. Has anyone ridden both and can give me an opinion without being bias?
