Have any of you ridden Knights Tournament at Legoland on level 5. That was the most intense flat ride I've ever been on.
I found that on YouTube and you might be right, Blasterboy. No thanks, Harry Potter bout did me in...
I assume the rider picks the experience level? And is level 5 the same every time?
I have always wanted to ride that Legoland ride on level 5.
I am pretty sure it is a different ride every time, too. Awesome!

I'm really surprised the rides were completely disbanded after one accident.
I'm not so sure the accident was the only thing that lead to the rides going away, as most parks had them for quite a few years after that accident. I would think if the accident was the main cause for abandoning the rides, they would have been phased out quicker.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I'd still take it over a Scrambler..especially the Scrambler at GAdv, which seems awfully sloow to me.

I recall there being more than on accident on the Choas rides, and a fix was somehow not doable for many parks. I recall Cedar Point finding a fix for the ride, but for some reason it the ride was removed after a season or two of operation anyways.
So I don't think it was just after one accident; it was after two or more. That's all I got.

VAGUE recollection - and don't anyone quote me without checking... LOL!
One incident involved the restraints, and I think that may have resulted in the dual-locking mechanisms on the Chaos rides. Then there was the bigger incident which resulted in removals just a year or two later.
GAdv's rodeo became oT's rodeo when Toro was put in (or the year after). It is pretty lame with its current program.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
And they're supposed to be pretty highly programmable in terms of ride experience.
I would never trade Toro for another ride (I'd have to be crazy if I would), but I think a Rodeo would be excellent near a ride themed with bulls. Logical, right? Guess they figured The Bull would get angry being so close to a Rodeo that it would buck riders into the Atlantic. It tries on a daily basis as it is!

Mike, I do! I enjoy sleep. Unfortunately, I was recently very, very sick, and I was sleeping all hours of the day and night. It screwed up my schedule, and my nights and days are reversed. And a migraine kept me up all night last night. I am a mess lately. :P back on target today though, have appointments, and will NOT be posting for a while. I swear I have a life. I swear!! *laugh*

Not at LegoLand - but yes, we tried both 4 and 5 at the Orlando IAAPA about 5-6 years ago...amazing how much difference there is between the totally open and unthemed ones there and at Mt. Olympus and the completely immersive Potter ride at USF...
Well, isn't the Potter one also on a track so you have horizontal movement across a plane along with the multiple different movements of the arm? Plus, Potter's is programmed, but I think you're supposed to get a different ride every time you ride the Legoland/Olympus versions. Same basic tech from the same company (or at least the arm part--not sure about the track through Potter), but very different result.
Wish I could ride any of these right now. *laugh*

Glad you're (apparently) feeling better, Ma'am (except for the migraine, o' course)
